I am happy I went at the start of the season. I don’t know if I would like to share the hotel with all the summer vacationers who are sure to visit.

We booked this place on Airbnb, guided only by the reviews. I didn’t actually read them. I just looked at the pictures of the room. The price, I’d say, was the best value of anything on the entire lake. It was the only place that really seemed to be on the lake, where you could actually do things on the lake, not just look at it. A lot of places you couldn’t even go in the water—no lake access, or maybe just sunbathing. It’s clear a lot of love went into this place when it was built. The whole property is very thoughtfully developed. There’s a distinct yellow and blue color theme throughout—stickers, signage, even the color of the boats. Even the e-bike charger in the bike room was yellow and blue. Yeah, they have a charging station for e-bikes. The umbrellas are yellow. The chairs are blue. There are tons of different room layouts, spread across lots of buildings. We were fortunate—I’d say we had one of the best rooms. It was a little studio layout with a small kitchen. The kitchen was simple but functional. Our studio had doors that opened onto a terrace, fully enclosed by dense ivy—looked like ivy, anyway. From the terrace, you could see out to the lake. And beyond that, the mountains. On the other side? Slovenia. Bathroom was complete—modern and all in one room. Kitchen looked brand new. There’s an espresso machine, but note: you might want to bring some favorite things from home—aluminum foil, plastic zip bags, salt, pepper, spices, etc. They also provided a nice little bottle of champagne (sect), dish soap, and some kitchen supplies. Our room was right near the sauna area—almost part of it. There was a sauna, showers, a small pool to relax in. A tiny fitness area—enough to get the job done. A breakfast buffet was not included—eggs, bacon (crispy, good). They also had: Table tenni, Boats, A DVD collection you could borrow - DVD player in the room.

The price in booking did not match the actual price I paid in the end. There was some extra charge and a booking fee charge.

Great apartment in a fantastic location. Very good wellness and great breakfast. Staff was fület nice.

We rented a budget room, with a bunk bed so it was tiny. We knew renting it it's not going to be large, but it was smaller than expected. It was still totally fine for one night, but it gave a ship quarters vibe, so if it's not your ting, or you're a larger person, or travelling with a larger suitcase, pick a bigger room :) (we were offered a bigger room so it's not a complaint!) Internet was really slow - this was the only downside.

Great location right on the lake. Clean room. Kitchenette in the room made a great addition. Parking right outside the door. Comfortable mattress, great shower - hot water, fantastic pressure. Our dog was welcome. Thank you for the coffee pods for the breakfast! We didn't use any amenities, but they looked fantastic - we will definitely plan for them next time, as we will be back!

Everything is good here. The staff are very courteous. The location is excellent. The facilities (Sauna, Pool, Solarium etc) are very good. This makes an excellent location for a leisure or an active trip,

Nothing in particular. We were using the sofa bed so the seating in the living area was pretty crowded. Some complimentary tea or coffee and dish soap in the kitchen would have been nice.

The apartment was clean and modern. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Parking was easy. The breakfast was good. The hotel made a good base for exploring the area.

The decor in the rooms is a bit too colourful, not really super tasty. But thats just a very small & not significant thing.

We loved the one night stay at Barry Memle hotel. The location right at the lake was top, walking distance from all the bars & restaurants. The staff (Cathy) was very nice & helpfull. The room was big & spacious, very well equipped. They have thought of everything.

Super friendly hotel staff. We got upgraded to the bungalow, very spacious and nice. Breakfast was good, hotel staff even kept it longer open just for us. The swim area to the lake is directly connected to the hotel, it is a bit small though, but nothing unusual for this area of the lake. Velden Center is walking distance and there is enough space in the car parking at all times.

The cosiness, the comfort. Spacey and well equipped apartments - rooms. Otherwise guests. The Wörthersee lake. The classy Casino neighborhood nearby. The host went out of the way to help - on Easter Sunday evening!
