Camping area for tents could have had more picnic tables. No onsite shop apart from a vending machine

Great location and easy to get there by train (1km from station,). Facilities very clean and well designed, on site restaurant was fairly smart for a campsite but food was great. Wider area had lots to offer if you like biking, hiking, walking. Mallnitz itself is likeable and has a good tourism centre.

Lovely atmosphere, especially if you are with family. So quiet and calm. The bathroom and shower is very clean. It is really is the perfect place to connect with nature. It was always a relief to get to HOCHoben after a long day of hiking.

The facilities are outstanding. Clean, modern and warm. Location great, easy access to the town and the winter sports.

The communal fridge was very dirty and smelly, but it we understand it is a luxury to have access to a fridge so were grateful anyway. Most of our food was taken/lost from the fridge and not much was done about finding out what happened. We got a free meal in the restaurant, which was generous but would have rather had the food back!!

Amazing facilities and location. Lovely bonus of free bike use for one day. Very clean toilets and showers. Lovely staff.

Perfect place for camping. The bathrooms and other rooms were super clean and we never had to wait in the line to get to the rest room or shower. It also has a laundry room (extra charge) and free bike rental if you stay for at least 2 nights. You can also get a key for a lock box where you can charge your devices. Definitely visiting again.

Kitchen area didn't have the stove If the weather is not good, it would be super windy everywhere on the camp site (wind gusts were 26 km/h when we stayed so we actually had to move to the hotel for one night, as the tent was shaking badly)

Could be a bit cheaper for just a tent without close access to electricity. At the time of my stay it was about 70% of price of the cheapest beds in the area.

2 things i really didnt like it. 1. the train. they went and came all the night, all night we hear trains that was very bad. The camping near the train station. Mostly i think the trains going at night when everyone try to sleep or sleep :) but they are very loud. The second thing is the spots. As i see every guest put it near each other, but there are a lot of empty spaces. I think that would be better if they skip 1 spot between guests because they had a lot of empty spots the other part of camping and that would be most resting keep distance between guests.

We liked the nature and the peaceful silent daylight. Bathroom was clean and separete, once i felt something in the air one of bathroom wasnt cleaned up well. The reception was kind and we got converter to electricity too. I offer it for resting.

Everything in this place is nice and comfy. Exceeded our expectations and definitely a place to recommend. Staff was very nice. Worst the money spent. Have a small privete zoo and a small skiing tracks.

The view was fantastic with a lot of free hiking routes around. The staff was nice and the place was super clean and comfy. There was even a separate shower room for pets.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, great location and well kept camping grounds. The bunnies, goats and sheep were a nice bonus too. :)
