    Great time in the chalet.

The sound insulation between appartments could be better, sometimes we heard the people from the apartment upstairs.

The genius loci was amazing. Great views, great location, very friendly owner. We used a fireplace every day, it brought a warmth to our hearts :-).

A perfect spot in the Austrian Alps

Perfect location if you travel by car and your goal is (just like ours) to sightsee Grossglockner pass and its surroundings as well as the highest parts of the Austrian Alps. Spacious, clean and fully equipped apartment, perfect for 2+2 family, very comfortable beds. Amazing view towards picturesque waterfall and the Grossglockner summit. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood (which was one of our priorities). Communicative and helpful hosts. Klaus, once again thank you for all of your recommendations. You really helped us to effectively spend our week in the Austrian Alps. And of course we won't forget extra wood for the fireplace. It was a great addition to the cool May evenings making them much warmer and romantic ;-)

Comfortable apartment with great views in an alpine environment

The access road although well maintained and generally quiet is narrow and exposed, which may be off putting for those not used to such driving, unlike the locals.

Excellent apartment, comfortable and spacious, good attention to detail, landlord Klaus attentive and has plenty of recommendations for excursions. Welcoming gift appreciated. Views stunning from balcony. Walks with woodland trails possible from the house. Environment locally suits the more adventurous traveller if wanting to maximise the area. The Via ferrata in the valley is fun and the Gamsgrubenweg isa must to appreciate the changes in the environment. If the weather is poor, Lienz is less than an hour away and may have better weather.

    Nothing at all

Absolutely stunning view. Host was incredibly helpful and lovely to chat with. Lovely retreat but close enough to needs to be convenient yet secluded. Rooms were a lovely size and I couldn't think of a single thing missing. Highly recommend

    Very good

However we have been informed about extra charges in this accomodation, yet we were surprised about these extra costs for all consumed electricity (this year 0,5 Euro/each kWh) and 2,5 Euro per each basket of wood supply for fireplace as charged by the owner at the end. Dont forget to bring extra cash with you especially for winter time when you need to heat up the rooms, not cheap.

Fantastic locality and magnificent view on Grossglockner and surrounding mountains from the room windows. Also charmy housekeeper working in the seccond house nerbay. We also enjoyed a beautiful rest in this apartment with fireplace and smelly wood fire in it.
