We had a truly wonderful stay at Rolea Guesthouse in Dürnstein, Austria. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and very well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to help us plan our tours around the stunning Wachau Valley. Their kindness and local knowledge made our trip even more enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight—absolutely delicious with a generous selection of fresh vegetables and fruits each morning. We would certainly love to come back again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this beautiful region!

Room was spacious, comfortable and had a balcony with a lovely, peaceful view. The lodge is located conveniently for walking to Durnstein for shopping and food and to bus stop for access to other towns along the Wachau River. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Owners are lovely hosts.

One small thing is that the owner speaks poor English, but if you are willing to communicate, it won't be a big problem.

One of the best places I've ever been. Amazing rooms that were clean and cozy. Excellent breakfast with an almost romantic atmosphere was something we were not prepared for and it was amazing. All in all and overall I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Everything was perfect.

Lovely stay, very modern looking and comfortable. The rooms had balcony which we really enjoyed. And not to mention AC which was a godsend considering how hot the temperatures were. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, lots of options to choose from and homemade cakes and brownies made by Mrs Rolea which were delicious. The stay was very close to town and restaurants / wine tasting places, and Durnstein Castle was within a short hike distance, could see it from the balcony (altough we didn't have time to visit). Perfectly pleased with the accommodation, couldn't have asked for more.

Gästezimmer Rolea was a great place to stay with a very welcoming family, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The house is in a great location on the edge of Durnstein and very walkable to the attractions in town. Breakfast was extensive (particularly for a smaller B&B), and the place is very dog friendly.

WiFi was a little weak if you were on the far end of the bedroom

Cornel and Corina were very good hosts who were very welcoming. Their property is a perfect balance of being walking distance to the heart of the town while also being tucked away on a quiet street. The room was clean, bathroom was spacious, and the breakfasts were tasty. Would stay here again and recommend it!

We are so glad that we stayed at Gastezimmer Rolea. It is in the heart of Dürnstein and therefore close to everywhere. Walking across the railway and a small tunnel was another nice thing about the location. It was our first time in a guest house and we are so glad we did stay there. The house and the rooms were so perfectly clean and neat, we also loved the view from our balcony. The landlord was so gentle and welcoming, he gave us so many suggestions with a lot of effort. The landlady was great as well, so friendly and kind; we adored her home-made cakes and Marillenmarmelade (apricot marmalade) at breakfast in which everything was super delicious. They do their best to make sure you really have a pleasant stay. I strongly suggest you to buy a jar or two apricot marmalade, I regret that I only bought one big jar. To sum up, we stayed for 2 nights and it was totally worth it; the price was really reasonable and we enjoyed a lot! We definitely recommend this place to whoever intends to visit the Wachau area.

I have no criticism of the property

A lovely house set in a pretty location out of the mainstream of tourists. Close proximity to the village, bus service, bicycle rental and to the walks on the mountain. The house is very clean and the owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The house is situated right next to the mountain and our room had a verandah

The room and the house were spotless! The lady of the house was extremely friendly! The breakfast was outstanding! Absolutely recommendable! Nice very short walk into the main street (max 5 mins). We will go again.
