How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewLocation, kitchen looked nice.
No soap, disgusting carpet, cockroaches! I slept alone in a capsule meant for two. It was too hot, with no proper ventilation. Other guests were sleeping with their doors open.

Verified reviewWe attempted to check in (well after the specified 15h00 check-in time) and found that our room had been double-booked and given to another gentleman who was already in the room when we got there. It was definitely the room we were assigned in the email from the property, and the code to unlock the door worked so we were not in the wrong place. He also said this was not the first time this has happened. As two females encountering a strange, unclothed man in their room, this was a huge safety concern, and we were left with no room to check into, as we couldn't get hold of anyone until the following morning. We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else. I was promised a refund, but two weeks later I still have yet to receive that. The location also did not seem the safest for a female traveller.

Verified reviewKitchen and bathrooms were comfortable. Good price, easy to get to the city center.
The stairs to the hotel are very dirty. The carpet in the hotel is dirty. Cockroaches are running around in the hotel. Poison the cockroaches and do something about the dirt, then the hotel format will be good for a low price.

Verified reviewBathroom and toilet were exceptionally clean and dry. The cleaning staff (girl) were so friendly and very helpful. She was amazing.
Kitchen was very oily and things were not washed well, I think it is because of some guests who didn’t clean with soap probably.

Verified reviewThe facilities (bathrooms, showers, sinks) and shared areas seem well maintained, even though there's some leakages - nothing that influences you using them. The pods are pretty nice, the "bed" more comfortable than you'd expect, there is two pillows, one more comfortable than the other but nothing special.
The front door of the hostel literally doesn't work. Both nights I got in thanks to someone opening the door from the inside after hearing me struggle. You enter the code and hear a confirmation, that it's unlocked, once you try opening it though, it just won't. If it worked, the system would be great - I was looking forward to the self check-in a lot, as I arrived late. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Another thing that is bothering is that the air quality inside the pods is basically non-existing. Unless you're really really tired (which to be fair - during my second night I was), you're gonna have a hard time falling asleep. At the end, you will get your value for money, the cheap price isn't for nothing. If you just want to spend a cheap night or maybe two, and don't have trouble falling asleep, go for it. If you find something else at a similar price however, do yourself the favor and take that offer.

Verified reviewIt was insanely hot inside and no air conditioning what so ever. The cubes are really small so if you are claustrophobic I would advise against staying here. Also we found a lot cockroaches in the kitchen and some in bed along side with bedbugs. We left in the middle of the night because of the bugs and overheating and slept in a car, it was a better option. The staff we contacted about these conditions were pleasant, and gave us a partial refund, that is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Verified reviewIt was unbearably hot and stuffy in the booth. Air circulation was not existent, and the 10cm ventilator provided only noise but no airflow - on top of which it wasn't always on. Impossible to sleep without the door wide open which of course puts you at risk.

Verified reviewThe Cubes project/design is original for sure. The idea of making big common spaces for co-working is not bad at all, and the room concept is very unique.
Curiously, despite the architect's intentions, it's not easy to keep human contact alive in common spaces. Sometimes the place is really too silent, it's heavy. Also, about Cubes: the abitability of the rooms is really questionable. They don't have windows and the ventilation system is uneffective, expecially with high temperatures. That's a big red flag. The room space is incredibly tiny, expecially for 2 people. If you suffer from claustrophobia, I do not recommend this place. I myself had episodes of claustrophobia in my past (much better now) and was quite shocked at the first sight of the room. Definitely, sleeping with the door open can help a lot.

Verified reviewNothing
The entrance was filthy, and the ‘room’ was not as advertised at all. The photos make the room seem like it is well lit with natural light, but there are no windows or air flow into the room. The room itself was dirty and it was hot and stuffy in there, after being in there for an hour we decided it wasn’t healthy or comfortable at all to stay there so we had to book another accommodation.
