No A/C, which requires to leave the window open on hot summer days. But then the cars and motorbikes using the steep road right next to the building will definitely wake your family up from 5 am onwards. :-(

No airco in the room, and when we arrived in the lobby to check in, we need to wait very long. The hotel has his charmes, but i found the price a little bit too high compared what we booked in the past on our way to our final destination.

We had a very large room with a view, nice bathroom, and very large. The hotel had also a nice parking, beautiful terrace and i like the breakfast very well. Unfortunately we had already dinner somewhere else on the road cause when seeing another guest his schnitzel I was very hard feeling to order also one...

Rooms not soundproof: Music could be heard all night from the room next to ours. We paid the price of an expensive 4-star hotel: for that price, you'd expect more breakfast options. For that price, you'd also expect a made-up bed and airco in the room, which was quite warm (even though it was only 16 degrees outside).

We traveled by public transport, and the bus stop in front of the hotel (with a direct connection to Salzburg city center every 20 minutes) was convenient. The train station requires a transfer. The room and bathroom were comfortable, with a separate toilet. We had a good meal in the hotel restaurant, which has an Austrian setting.

Well there is no aircon furniture pretty old and the fan is creaking so we have to stop it.

I think as a three star hotel it is okay, although you can’t expect too much. We stayed there for one night, followed by traveling to Hallstats.breakfast is better than I thought.

There is nothing around and the view is really non-existent. There was an event in the hotel restaurant and the staff were very busy and not so available for us.

Restaurant was closed and there is no info about it. Main door closed, no one in reception - You have to achieve key from “post box”, anything other You have to call and there is no one that could help in the hotel.

No elevator in the building. Quite far from Salzburg, but we travelled by car, so it was not crucial.

Rooms were very good, breakfast was delicious. We arrived late, but the property provided instructions how to get the keys, which we did without any problem. The hotel has a large parking, which was important for us.

The people running the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

I arrived on a Friday for a 2 day stop over the booking was for one person two nights, they had it two people one night. But that error was soon remedied. I had a lovely meal there that night and a good breakfast the next morning. I went out sightseeing when I came back mid afternoon there was a sign outside the hotel saying no reception open and the restaurant was closed for lunches and dinners until the Monday. It would have been nice to have known of these arrangements in advance. The room I had was rather warm with no a/c but a fan provided ( I left the windows open as well as the fan on = 8 mosquito bites).

Very hot in the room, even with the fan provided. Located near a busy road hence noisy in the family room. No balcony.

Having a mini fridge in the room to store chilled water would be nice.

This is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Salzburg. It is located on the outskirts of town in quiet and pleasant surroundings. A bus stop is right in front of the guesthouse, and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the city center. Rooms are nicely furnished. The personnel was friendly, and the service was good. The breakfast buffet was fine. Also, there is a nice restaurant with delicious, reasonably-priced food.

Not much to dislike. Missed A/C in the scorching weather but the room already had a standing fan. Breakfast was lacking variety but was good.

The location was close to the city, has the Tesla supercharger station which was one of the reasons for me to stay there. The bicycle path besides the river is great, we used it to cycle to the city up and down. The restaurant served local and German food.

The WiFi only worked just inside our room door, but not in the rest of the room. Seemed to work in the rest of the hotel premises.

The room TV could be a little bigger for a Champions League semi-final to watch in style. As a Real Madrid, fan, my son had still enjoyed their victory. If you have guest during the EM, my suggestion is that you can organize some sort of a TV projector screen in the restaurant area - just an idea. That could bring a lot more people as football + good food + good bier can only be a hit. A room mini-fridge would be also nice in the future.

Cleanliness standard was super, that's by far the biggest plus. Quick check-in. The room was spacious, we especially liked very much the big bath and shower. We have only nice things to say about the friendly staff and the dinner in restaurant, nice atmosphere, good bavarian food and 'leckeres bier'. The breakfast was basic and honest, but more than enough for us. Secure parking provided as well, the place is quite easy to reach from Salzburg center. Overall, a very nice surprise, it surely deservers a higher score on booking.
