The bed was comfy and bathroom had all the necessities. Breakfast was plentiful. The staff were heartwarmingly friendly.

The room had an unpleasant smell

Location was superb. Value for money was good, staff is very friendly. Would definetly visit again. In simple words it was cozy.

Convenient, clean, well designed, good breakfast.

No A/C, which requires to leave the window open on hot summer days. But then the cars and motorbikes using the steep road right next to the building will definitely wake your family up from 5 am onwards. :-(

We were so happy to find such a great place! It is just perfect for Salzburg visit. Rooms are good enough, large bathroom. Bus 21 to Salzburg every 15 min to the center! We even got free tickets at the reception. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and all in good quality. We could leave our luggages at the reception after check out. What I would recommend to the other guests with kids traveling with big luggage - there is not the lift and is better to pack 1 small luggage just for this stay, than to carry heavy big one to the 4th floor.

We had a very large room with a view, nice bathroom, and very large. The hotel had also a nice parking, beautiful terrace and i like the breakfast very well. Unfortunately we had already dinner somewhere else on the road cause when seeing another guest his schnitzel I was very hard feeling to order also one...

No airco in the room, and when we arrived in the lobby to check in, we need to wait very long. The hotel has his charmes, but i found the price a little bit too high compared what we booked in the past on our way to our final destination.

Away from the Gmunden center. Plastic covers on the mattress making you sweat the whole night.

The location was quite good and peaceful. The bed was clean and comfy(except for the smell of the room itself, please read the below)

The moment I opened the door of the room the smell of the room was terrible. Though the room was seemingly looking clean and the bed and blankets were also clean and tidy. The smell most likely come from the floor carpet or from the bathroom. Though the bathroom also looked seemingly clean. I highly recommend the hotel to clean their floor with some disinfectant and possibly use some perfume to make the stay comfortable!! It was a terrific experience to be in a room which smells so awful!!

We traveled by public transport, and the bus stop in front of the hotel (with a direct connection to Salzburg city center every 20 minutes) was convenient. The train station requires a transfer. The room and bathroom were comfortable, with a separate toilet. We had a good meal in the hotel restaurant, which has an Austrian setting.

Rooms not soundproof: Music could be heard all night from the room next to ours. We paid the price of an expensive 4-star hotel: for that price, you'd expect more breakfast options. For that price, you'd also expect a made-up bed and airco in the room, which was quite warm (even though it was only 16 degrees outside).

The breakfast was very good. Parking near the hotel. Check in possibility in the middle of the night.

The is no elevator. We had room in third floor. The cigarete smell in the non smoking room.

Friendly people, and a nice large room with good beds and a great shower. Wifi was a tad slow, but reliable. The breakfast had a nice selection of continental food options.

Apart from the somewhat slow WiFi there is nothing much to comment on.

It was a little hot in the room on the 4th floor.

I think as a three star hotel it is okay, although you can’t expect too much. We stayed there for one night, followed by traveling to Hallstats.breakfast is better than I thought.

Well there is no aircon furniture pretty old and the fan is creaking so we have to stop it.
