We booked two rooms with 3 singles beds each. Each room had a double and an extra bed which was too short for an adult person. As we are travelling with two parents and four young adults, this was disappointing.

The lovely Georgian receptionist was delightful. Helpful and charming and happy in her job. Breakfast had a great selection, too. The room was clean, bright, and quiet despite being right next to the stairs. Location was ideal for exploring the city centre.

Vegan options in breakfast buffet

I asked for vegan and gluten free breakfast and they provided gluten free bread, but no vegan additional options to put on the bread. I basically just had the option to put jam and everyone else had a huge buffet with different options to put on the bread ( different meat, and cheese etc. ). At least they bought a vegan milk for the coffee on the second day after asking for it on day 1.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I would have trouble giving it a 3 star label. It does need a facelift. It’s a bit pricey for what it offers.

Location is great: just 3 blocks from Main Street. You are 1 block away from the beautiful Mariendom. Convenient parking on site: you pay 11 euro per night. Good breakfast.

Hotel is situated in a quiet neigbourhood. There is a parking behind the hotel (cost €11/night). Very good breakfast. The hotel was quiet when we were there, not so much activity. It's only 5 min walk to the city center and therefore I would stay again. Rooms are okay, maybe a little outdated, but good for a night.

Bathroom with frosted glass walls in 3 beds room is not a very good idea.

The room was pretty comfortable. Good beds, central location but very quiet street. AC was also available which helped a lot in summer heat.

Description is a little unclear regarding 'reserving' a parking spot on-site. I added this as a special note,. But when I wrote to confirm, I was told it is basically done first-come, first-served. The parking area is quite small (~20 spaces), so this may be concerned when booking on a really popular weekend.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, in both English and German. Location is central-adjacent, but still pretty convenient. Room was nice and clean.

room is obviously outdated and would need an update. Overall felt like 3* rather than 4* category. there was strong unpleasant smell in our room. not an easy accessible parking entrance (very narrow) no dinner option inside the hotel (however restaurants are within a walking distance - not ideal option when in rains heavily)

It would have been convenient to have a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room. A fridge/mini bar would have been useful too. Also if the TV had a couple of channels in another language (English/Spanish/French) rather than all in German. And if there was a little more lounge comfort in the reception area. Location was ok but it would have been nice to be able to get a tea/coffee without having to walk 10 minuites.

The bedroom was comfortable, warm and quiet. Bathroom a decent size and clean.
