Charming hotel in a wonderful location for day hikes in the Bregenserwald. The view from our room with balcony was lovely and provided a relaxing place to rest after touring and hiking. Both dinners and breakfasts were excellent with attentive service.

Room for improvement: electric kettle in the room (or available to take to the room). Also, hypoallergenic pillows would be nice.

Fly’s were prolific on the balcony & in the restaurant.

Nothing-everything was ok. The hotel itself is quite far away from Bregenz, so arround you can do anything else than resting.

Comfortable and clean room. Even we haven’t reserved we’ve got room with balcony with view to Bregentzerwald. We had dinner in the restaurant (paid separate) and the food was very good, maybe a little bit pricey but this part of Austria is pricey itself. Free parking is additional advantage.

Hotel is between very busy road and local road, so traffic at both sides.

Nice sauna, very good breakfast, nice welcome, closed garage for bikes, room ok. Meal in restaurant was wonderful, we advise to take a steak on a hot stone, really exceptional…

Our stay was very good from the start with a warm welcome explanation of facilities and room spacious and very comfortable. Food was excellent with inclusive breakfast. We will visit again as hotel was at the start of a very pretty route through Austria..from Bregenz. Free private parking is always a big bonus for us.

Reception desk was not staffed in the mornings, only after 15:30 in the afternoons.

Convenient location in the Bregenzerwald - beautiful hiking area, just near the Bregenzerwald Käsestrasse (cheese street), yet only twenty minutes from Bregenz and Lake Constance. Well appointed rooms with balconies, immaculately clean. Excellent buffet breakfast. Sauna facilities. Onsite parking.

The operating hours of the wellness/sauna facilites was not clearly marked/explained to us. Also, coming from Eastern Europe, it would have been nice to know if the sauna/wellness are was textile free or not. But in the end we had a busy schedule, and would have been unable to use it anyway.

The bus stop to/from Bregenz is right across the street from/next to the hotel entrance. It was very nice we did not have to take the car to Bregenz. It was a quiet place with large rooms, good breakfast, and sauna/wellness facilites.

We got a main road oriented room so it was a bit noisy until the traffic settles down and then early morning again.

The lady at the receptiion is wonderful and friendly and she really makes you feel welcome. The breakfaat is varied, you have a restaurant with great food if you get hungry from 5 pm. We rented bikes for 3 days and kept them in the hotel garage. Lots of free parking space. Everything is well organized and runs really smoothly. There are trails for hiking and cycling all around the hotel, just look for the little sign posts and they'll tell you where you are going and how far it is. Oh, and you get the summer card. Buses are free, outdoor swimming pools, cable cars....

You can hear the traffic noise from the room but during night the traffic is reduced so no big issue for us.

The hotel is very good maintain, clean and comfortable. The personal were willing to help and friendly. The food was tasty with quality ingredients. Sauna area better than other 4 star hotels visited in the region. I loved the traditional look of hotel, it is giving you the feeling of holiday. For sure we will come back here.
