There is no AC in the whole building which was pretty unpleasant, especially in the restaurant.

It is WAY too expensive, more than it should be. Slash 30/40% and you will be in the right price range. Also, why on EARTH did you think that adding 10 euro per night as a “volunteer” tip for the staff (that the customer can raise, lower, or cancel at check out) was a good idea??? It feels arbitrary and violent. Don’t do it: it’s NOT a good idea. You charge TOO much. You are the first ones who need to be kind to your employees. The customer feels unnecessary pressure to keep the charge in the account. Bad idea!

The only upgrade I can think of is each room having its own ski locker ;)

Its very modern and spacious. It has great food, a bar that makes awesome cocktails, luxurious spa and more… The hotel is really great but what actually makes it outstanding is its staff, starting from reception over to ski rent guys, restaurant staff and bar… Huge shoutout to Kristijan (reception), Milos and Dragan (restaurant) as they are the most polite and helpful and made our stay super pleasant.

Location to ski lift, ski rental in the hotel. Food was excellent, bar staff very good. Spa area and outdoor pool and sauna segregated area for adults.

Dinner is tasty but it is like a tasting menu dinner, just a few bites of food, which is ok if there is meat on the buffet, but there are days with no meat, only pasta so you end up being hungry or having to eat bread and salami for dinner to fuel yourself after long skiing day.

Spa was great, you can really relax after skiing or on a rainy day. There is a sign where entering a spa that it is a no bath suit area. That rule is not being followed, so you have a mix of naked people and people in bathing suits. I think that rule needs to be more strict, so everyone is aware it is a naked area which would make people feel less confused and more comfortable.

People who stayed with their children in the hotel. Running around the halls. The hotel was one big playroom. We didn't pay that much money to listen to the wildness, we came to rest.

The fact that we had to leave.

The location, the architecture, the attention to detail, the kind and friendly staff and, in particular, Alessandro the spa manager, who produced the most incredible sauna infusion experience. Golf and the nearby ski lift are included in the price and who knows what else. The breakfast is the best that I can recall in Europe. (I had the best in Dubai.) The spa is outstanding. We were going to go back to Velden to enjoy another Falkenstiner hotel, where we also had a great time, but Carinzia is better. Funny thing is, you approach the hotel thinking 'why would they hide such a gem in this location?'. Then you find the ski lift in the backyard, the golf course 5 minutes away and the awesome mountain views from your room and from the pool. In short: an understated treasure. We will come back many times.

There is no air conditioning and no mosquito nets, which was a bit annoying because there were a lot of flies

The hotel is extremely nicely decorated, all the details are well thought out, but what really provides added value is the staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and attentive. They constantly make sure that everything is organized and runs smoothly. The food is top quality and the selection is huge.

Although it's a large hotel, we felt like we were in a boutique hotel, thanks to the exceptionally friendly staff who were always at our service. The restaurant is excellent, with a rich selection of dishes, as well as the lobby bar which offers an excellent choice of drinks. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel's advantage is its proximity to the ski resort, as well as the large wellness center.

Bed mattress was too hard and not perfectly comfy.

Great location and professional staff, everything at the hotel is made to make the holidays full of relaxation. Millennium express was 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It was nice to relax at the spa zone in the afternoons.

Public part of the spa is not well equiped, should have an open sauna as well. Rooms are too hot, even with the air con on lowest level. Shower with glass wall towards the room is a bit silly.

Food is plenty, selection is fine and versatile. Room is big enough, bath also. Location cant be better.
