How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There is no AC in the whole building which was pretty unpleasant, especially in the restaurant.

We have a beautiful spa and wellness area, which was renovated last year and leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we do not have air conditioning in the rooms, but they are equipped with very good fans that can cope with the heat very well. The restaurant, on the other hand, is equipped with air conditioning. It is WAY too expensive, more than it should be. Slash 30/40% and you will be in the right price range. Also, why on EARTH did you think that adding 10 euro per night as a “volunteer” tip for the staff (that the customer can raise, lower, or cancel at check out) was a good idea??? It feels arbitrary and violent. Don’t do it: it’s NOT a good idea. You charge TOO much. You are the first ones who need to be kind to your employees. The customer feels unnecessary pressure to keep the charge in the account. Bad idea!
Dear Mr. Eduardo, First of all, we would like to thank you very much for taking the time to write an evaluation, even though it was not ideal for us in two respects. We are delighted that you gave us full marks for staff and cleanliness, as these are also very important criteria in the hotel industry. We are generally praised for our price/performance ratio, as guests can take advantage of many free offers in addition to the room. If you look at the Card holiday alone, which every guest receives free of charge during their stay, you can use a lot of free and some discounted admissions with this card. You can take the gondola up to the Nassfeld, our absolute “highlight”, as often as you like, even on the day of departure. We have introduced voluntary tipping out of fairness to our colleagues who work in the background and it has been very well received by our guests. Each guest decides for themselves whether they agree to this or not and we are very happy with every decision. What we don't intend is for people to feel coerced in any way, and I think that we communicate this to the guest in a really understandable, polite way at check-in. We wish you a wonderful summer with many relaxing hours and would be pleased that your positive points, as well as your feedback from the hotel, have convinced us that we may once again be your vacation hotel in Carinthia, as guests you are always welcome.

It has great food, a bar that makes awesome cocktails, luxurious spa and more… The hotel is really great but what actually makes it outstanding is its staff, starting from reception over to ski rent guys, restaurant staff and bar… Huge shoutout to Kristijan (reception), Milos and Dragan (restaurant) as they are the most polite and helpful and made our stay super pleasant.
The only upgrade I can think of is each room having its own ski locker ;)

Verified reviewThe hotel is well located right by the ski station with the hotel ski depot being just 20 meters away. Breakfast had a large variety of choices, there was a complimentary hearthy lunch with an above average selection and the dinner was superb (combination of farmers market buffet and served fine dining dishes). The spa was conveniently divided into two parts, the first being for everyone with a warm pool that connects to the outside and with the second part being reserved for adults with saunas and an additional pool, jaccuzzi, cold plunge etc. (really good selection although it is a mandatory nude area). Parking was also taken care of with plenty of parking spots outside free of charge or alternatively you can use the parking garage for a surcharge of around 15eur/day. Besides skiing and enjoying the spa there is also a lot of space to socialize (lounges, game rooms, pool and chess room etc.).
The food is so good you might have trouble by eating too much!

Verified reviewSpa was great, you can really relax after skiing or on a rainy day. There is a sign where entering a spa that it is a no bath suit area. That rule is not being followed, so you have a mix of naked people and people in bathing suits. I think that rule needs to be more strict, so everyone is aware it is a naked area which would make people feel less confused and more comfortable.
Dinner is tasty but it is like a tasting menu dinner, just a few bites of food, which is ok if there is meat on the buffet, but there are days with no meat, only pasta so you end up being hungry or having to eat bread and salami for dinner to fuel yourself after long skiing day.
