We’re truly sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable during your experience – that is never our intention, as we want all our guests to feel welcome and well cared for. Our General Manager has already personally responded to your Google review and kindly explained the situation: our restaurant does have a casual-elegant dress code, which is clearly stated both on our website and at the restaurant entrance. For this reason, swimwear such as bathing shorts and pool sandals are not permitted in the dining area. Our General Manager approached you with the utmost respect and only asked for a small adjustment – changing the shorts and sandals – while also expressing that both your and your son’s clothing looked lovely and that you were, of course, very welcome in the restaurant with just this minor change. Regarding other guests you may have seen in sportswear: these were members of a professional football team currently staying with us. They dine in a separate, private area of the restaurant designated exclusively for them, so as not to impact the dining experience of our hotel guests. We’re sorry to hear that this situation left you with a negative impression. Please know that upholding a respectful and pleasant atmosphere for all guests is very important to us, and we always aim to handle such situations with sensitivity and fairness. We do hope that, in time, you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to welcome you warmly and provide the relaxing experience you had hoped for.
