Very comfortable apartment with shared kitchen. Excellent Italian restaurant next door

The accommodation is by the Alpe Adria bike path, and we had our bikes safely stored in the house. There is a good pizzeria right at the accommodation. The room had a balcony with a nice view of the river.

The hotel promotes 'secure bike storage' for Alpe Adria riders. But the storage is a garage space with a door left open to the street side and ZERO opportunity to lock a bike to something inside. They need rails, bars, etc to lock to and keep the door closed to the outside. Particularly when they threaten penalties if you should bring a bike into your room. Self check-in never talking to anyone is 'interesting' but works. The hotel looks nice. But as you look around more, you realize there is a lot of deferred maintenance hiding behind fresh finishes. Worn chairs on the balconies with damaged railings. Moldy corners in the showers etc. Nothing showstopping but dissapointing

Everything ! Spacious apartment, you've got everything you needed. Lovely view of the mountain from the balcony. 15 mins walking to the stain station. Awesome, stay closer to the Alps. Definitely will stay again.

Shower drainage holes are blocking. Lighting at kitchen very dim and limited.

The bathroom was small and weird. There were no shower gels.

Value for money in a suburban location. Train station is a short walk.

Would not recommend arriving at night time.

Worst thing is the stink of the bathroom. The whole room was filled with that when I steped in. Second worst thing is the matrace on the bed I could hardly sleep hours.

We had a horrible stay at this hotel. When we arrived, there were no staff and our key was in a lock box. We were on bikes, cycling the Alpe Adria. There was a garage/bike room for storing bikes but the garage door which looked on to the street was wide open. There was nothing to lock the bikes to. There was also no-one to ask about whether the garage would be locked at night. We would never leave our bikes in an open garage that anyone could access. The owner came to our room in the evening and shouted at us because we had been forced to bring our bikes into the room. He was absolutely furious and he wouldn't even let me explain. He just screamed at us to take our bikes downstairs and then stormed off. Bike storage needs to be secure. The owner should put a combination lock on the door. Then he can give cyclists the code and they can leave their bikes there without worry. Our room was very basic, no hair dryer, no chairs to sit on, the water in the shower was not very hot. All in all, a terrible stay.

Good option for 1 night. Clean and quiet.
