I like the calmness of the place and the staff were nice. I found the location acceptable, and the layout of the room was nice. It was big enough and had a sink and a good spaced bathroom. The food was awesome, and I would definitely recommend trying it.

The receptionist is not always present at the front of the hotel. I was worried about our data and our privacy as our data was open, and the screen was facing everyone who was coming in and out of the hotel. Not only our data but the person who paid before us after they were finished, the receptionist left the screen open with all their information and the amount they paid open, where everyone can see it. I did not like that at all. We booked a room that says it has a lake view, but when we arrived, we could see a glimpse of the lake from the right side of the balcony only. The curtains in the bathroom were not clean. A big stain was present at the chair in the room.

When it rains outside, there's always sunshine inside. A perfect, family-run hotel. If you want to feel at home while staying at Wolfgangsee, this is the right choice.

Walking distance to nice bathing possibilities, playground for old and young, great food and very friendly staff

The hotel is excellent. Not far from hiking trails, the bus station, and just a few minutes walk from the lake. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the hosts are extremely hospitable, and the breakfast is great!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and were absolutely thrilled. The location is excellent – about 10 minutes by car to St. Wolfgang or a 45-minute walk. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. From the accommodation, you can take a beautiful circular walk to Strobl and back, or continue along the lakeside path. There’s also a nice playground nearby. The hotel has a sauna (which we didn’t use) and a very pleasant covered outdoor terrace where you can sit even when it’s raining (we enjoyed it twice). The restaurant offers a combination of traditional Austrian and Thai cuisine – we tried both and everything was delicious. At breakfast, we appreciated the wide selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as excellent homemade spreads. But what truly makes this place stand out are the incredibly kind and helpful owners, who also serve in the restaurant. They never forgot to check if we were missing anything, the owner greeted us with a cheerful “Ahoj” in Czech, and when we left, we even received a bottle of homemade elderflower syrup – the same one they use for their Hugo cocktails, which we happily indulged in during happy hour :) We honestly can’t think of a single thing to criticize – the warm and friendly service made everything even more enjoyable. Thank you!

The hotel is super clean and cozy. We loved that it’s close to the lake, restaurants, and downtown Wolfgangsee –really easy to find.

The family-owned and run establishment is beautifully built with simple, yet smart touches. It is exceptionally clean and has plenty of parking, even for our 9-person van! The rooms are spacious and family-friendly. The breakfast is a must - made to order eggs and omelettes were fresh and perfectly cooked, the breakfast bar was plentiful with everything you could imagine from fresh fruit to cereals and homemade granola to meats and cheeses, and the homemade breads with homemade jams were to die for! The owners are incredibly friendly and personalized our experience which we greatly appreciated as we were traveling as a family that included teens and elderly grandparents.

This was not an issue for us, but some might feel that the hotel is a bit out of the way if wanting easier access to St. Wolfgang shopping and sightseeing. You will need to drive to there. But if you want a quieter, more peaceful stay closer to hiking trails and a leisurely run around the lake, this is the spot!

Everything was Wonderful, specially the owners of the hotel,they were very nice and keen to help you with everything. I enjoyed the 2 night stay there.

The property was clean and conveniently located near our desired travel destinations. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the hospitality was exceptional. The wonderful family hosting us always greeted us with smiles and regularly checked to ensure everything was satisfactory.

It is a gem at the most beautiful lake in Austria. The hotel’s management is incredibly friendly and helpful, the restaurant has amazing Austrian and also Thai food, waiters are friendly. We have arrived with a 6 months old baby girl they offered us with a cot and they even provided us with a baby seat for dinners. Baby and adult friendly accomodation recommended to all who visit Wolfgangsee.

Host of the Hotel was really very co-operative and good. Host also guided us and helped us to plan the local tour very well. I will highly recommend the hotel for family.

Everything was good.

Excellent family stay. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, real professionals. They helped us with everything - suggesting best bike roots, advising on sightseeing locations, booking tickets and many more. The hotel was very comfortable, cozy, very clean. We booked a regular family room but the owner upgraded it to a top suite. Location was very convenient, calm and quiet. Restaurant provides excellent local but also Thai food. We will definitely come back to you again!
