Really liked the traditional guesthouse feel of the place. Enormous original gate leads into lovely courtyard and garden, with outside stairs leading to the upper veranda and access to the rooms. Excellent selection on the breakfast buffet, including fresh fruit and freshly cooked eggs at request. Dinner is freshly cooked with local produce. Drinks are available from the fridge with guests keeping the tab on an honesty basis. Staff super helpful and friendly.

A small jug of fresh milk in the fridge would be good for some English-breakfast tea drinkers. My bedroom was very warm and difficult to get a breeze through, due to the window arrangement. The guesthouse feels better suited to adults than small children, although the host and staff went out of their way to accommodate my grandchild.

- Communication was not ideal. The good part was that all Information for the check in is provided.. Even if not the easiest to identify - quality wise, mostly the minimum to be ok with: furniture, quality, towels etc.

Nice traditional house and room, pretty garden, delicious breakfast, kind host. Dog-friendly place with no extra fee for dogs.

Noisy - there was no AC in the room so had to sleep with open windows, but from dawn it was very noisy, particularly the water pipe that was right under the window. The bed was squeaking upon movement. It would be good to have a fridge in the room (especially in the summer), a shelf in the shower for shower gel and other stuff, a dustbin in the main room and toilet (there was only a very small dustbin in the bathroom).

Very simple “Hotel” - but very clean, very nice staff and overall great for the money worth.

Staff couldn’t have been nicer and were very accommodating. Dinner was fantastic and bkfst just enough

Breakfast was extraordinary with local goods. Good coffee, Charming place for teh breakfast with tile stove.

Very friendly family run guest house who made us feel at home.

The owner is super-friendly and the property delightful. Meals were excellent. My room was one of the more basic ones, but still comfortable and clean. All round, a very highly recommended place to stay.

The only issue for some travellers may be getting there from the station; buses are infrequent and taxis hard to come by. However, the owner’s willingness to collect you and drop you off cancelled this out!
