The only thing ‘wrong’ (wasn’t really wrong) was my shower drain. It didn’t drain super well and the top came off. But that wasn’t a problem at all and I was never standing in a puddle so no issue

Lake view from the balcony is the best view you can imagine! Amazing place with very nice staff, very good breakfast, free parking. All in an amazing mountainous valley. Can't be better!

It gets a bit busy during the day with lots of tourists, but it is nice being there in the morning and evening with few people around!

We had a nice stay at the Gasthof Gosausee! It is beautiful and clean, and the staff is friendly. The views of the lake and mountains are incredible (especially when it's not raining!). We enjoyed a delicious breakfast by the lake on our last morning there, enjoying the beautiful view! We would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the region!

While Room 6 itself was great, its location next to the restaurant kitchen's vent impacted our stay. We constantly had cooking odors and noise in our room from early morning until the kitchen closed around 8 PM. Since the rooms aren't air-conditioned, leaving the window open for airflow was our only option, unfortunately exacerbating the smell and noise.

For anyone visiting Gosau, you couldn't ask for a better location, especially if you're keen on hiking around Gosausee. The breakfast spread was truly delicious, and every member of the staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. Our room was perfectly clean and perfectly sufficient for our needs. We were also very impressed with the restaurant's extensive menu, which led us to happily dine there every evening.

The price for the room was too expensive but the location was right next to a climbing route we wanted to take. Otherwise would not have picked the room because of the price.

The scenery on site is breathtaking and the guesthouse is located right at the lake surrounded by beautiful mountains. The staff was very friendly and the location is very peaceful and cozy. The room had all the amenities we hoped for and the breakfast was sufficient.

The owners were very friendly and readily communicative. I thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and the calming view; it was even more beautiful than depicted in the photos, and the cleanliness was exceptional. I would happily return someday. The property is also wonderfully pet-friendly.

It gets quite crowded outside, but you must expect it as the place is very popular and gorgeous. The breakfast, given the fact they have a kitchen, was a little let down -- as I'm used to hot meals in the morning. The lady offers you an egg, but it's just fried. No sausages, nothing. They do have a variety of hams and cheese. But it was a bit simple breakfast :) The kaiser buns tho were really nice. The hot drinks in the morning are either coffee or tea. The wifi is not so good.

I paid for the lake view and I was not disappointed! the view is gorgeous. I really enjoyed myself. The staff was so friendly and kind! :) The restaurant has a menu in german, english and czech :D <3 also they have a picture menu which is very helpful. We travelled with our dogs and everything was fine. The room was lovely.

All was Amazing

Beautiful location so peaceful, lovely walks and hikes available right outside the doorstep the views are breathtaking, staff are absolutely fantastic very welcoming and very helpful we had dinner in the restaurant lovely fresh trout to a beautiful strudel,breakfast was nice loads to choose from lady that was serving breakfast she was so nice attentend to all that we need it ,feels like a second home from views to the nice staff we got talking to we hope to be back soon we couldn't have asked for a better stay in our first night in Austria Thank you

Very friendly personnel, wonderful food (especially dinners!), great location just by the lake and only few minutes by car from the ski resort and moreover, dogs are welcome here :-) We really enjoyed the stay here and I can fully recommend it to everyone who comes here for skiing and/or hiking.

First of all, the inn's owners are great, and the food is delicious. The inn is also in the best location: the ski slopes are close, and the scenery is amazing. I will definitely return.
