Gasthof Grünling is a good opportunity to relax and take a rest. Food is excellent and you are greatly welcomed. All is done, good mindset from the owner, you feel like at home. Also you have your bike in the garage and you can charge your battery.

Clean, functional, renovated accommodation 😊 The neighboring building is a cafe with a bakery. It's nice for breakfast ❤️ Everything is delicious. Open from Mo-Fr 6:00 to 18:00 + saturday limited.

Decent Hill to cycle up to reach the property, but views were well worth the effort!

Fourth generation owner greeted us with chilled drinks and an open garage for our bicycles. Stunning level of hospitality for a small family run Hotel. Sounds really pedestrian, but Ernst immediately offered us the use of the washing machine and an airer in the sunshine to ‘make sure we were all set for the final two weeks of our cycle tour’… Above and beyond, beautiful, old-fashioned hospitality. Ernst went a step further and made gluten-free versions of regional specialty foods, which were fabulous!

Nothing … except the rain.

We arrived wet, cold and tired from a rainy stage of the Passau to Vienna bike trail. We were immediately scooped up and welcomed into the hotel. Wet clothes were taken to be dried, a welcoming drink and an absolutely delicious home cooked meal. Room was basic but immaculately clean. Breakfast was equally delicious. Could t recommend more strongly.

The staff made us feel very welcome. Welcome drink on arrival, offered to dry any wet clothes. Family run accommodation, Ernest is very passionate about his hotel. Food was exceptional being cooked by him and served by his wife. Best place we have stayed so far in Austria, thank you.

Extremely welcoming, friendly family run hotel. Ernest greeted us on arrival, with a glass of locally produced cider. The evening meal was fantastic, cooked by chef Ernest and family. Highly recommend a stay at this place.

I have nothing negative, only positives

The owners were very pleasant and kind, they took care of us perfectly. The dinner is very tasty, the portion of food is huge, the breakfast is perfect. The owner advised us how to travel further along the cycle paths around the Danube. I recommend everyone to visit this place, because we were really very satisfied.

The host and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and our room was spotlessly clean. The rooms are a little old fashioned. We were able to store our bicycles in the garage at the rear of the property. Good value for money with nice touches such as home made jam with breakfast.

We were greeted by the owner with glasses local Apple/pear cider. Room was comfortable, the owner prepares a delicious and large dinner, breakfast offered a selection of items including home made cake, and fresh fried/scrambled individually prepared eggs. An extremely helpful and nice owner. Secure bicycle storage.
