We really liked this accommodation. I traveled with my family and this was one of our favorite accommodations. We used the bicycle to move around the area, it is a wonderful place for this activity. What particularly attracted our attention was the fact that the size of the room is generous, suitable for families and breakfast (great variety of food) . Thank you!

The pillows can be a better quality.

Central location, very good breakfast, nicely presented and I loved the basket idea for each room. Staff is very friendly and just willing to help. Resi, the dog is cute and available for petting.

There was nothing to dislike

This B&B is beautiful and is immaculately clean and well organised. Our room was large and comfortable and we really liked the shared areas. The courtyard is a splendid place to chill out and breakfast was all home made and delicious. We stayed on our Danube cycle ride and we were very pleased with the secure bike storage. Mautern is easier to access than Krems and we fully recommend this place.

Centrally located and nice and clean - good value for money and friendly staff. Lovely courtyard and comfortable rooms. The little baskets used to supply guests with the necessities are such a lovely idea - very unique. The coffee machine is amazing and makes delicious coffee - it is an antique wonder of mechanics and should be seen to be believed!

Clean, comfortable, and commodious, with a wonderful breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Communal kitchen, courtyard with picnic tables and bike room were all real pluses.

It was great! NB It’s mis-assigned on Tripadvisor as a restaurant so less people know about it.

Has a very relaxed feel about it. The owner also runs the winery and restaurant next door. He is very friendly and personable and he was there at breakfast talking to the guests. It’s almost like you’re his personal guest. The breakfast food quality was excellent. The rooms are retro but comfortable. There are generous public areas.

This gueshouse was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were all well-equipped. It also has spacous public areas. The staffs were also very friendly and helpful for our staying. The breakfast was pretty nice.

quaint little BnB in a small town close to main landmarks of the region. rooms have been decorated in a mid century- 60s style in a clever manner. the bathrooms are original but overall was very clean and centrally located. breakfast was lovely. would highly recommend this place as somewhere with Austrian charm, well priced and as very clean.

No complaints, just a suggestion. There is a big kitchen upstairs in the common area, but with nothing in it other than coffee, tea, juice, beer and wine for purchase. It would be really nice to make it into a functional kitchen for guests to share. Having some pots/pans/dishes/cups/flatware would be a great addition for cyclists like us to like to cook at home.

Lovely place. It had the most beautiful courtyard with hanging vines and foliage all around. So pretty to have a nice glass of wine in the evening. The room was good,. Quiet, comfortable bed, decent bathroom. We had an independent check-in. I know it bothers some, but we love this because it allows us to arrive at our leisure without anyone having to wait on us. When traveling by bike it‘s always difficult to say exactly when you‘ll arrive, so to have the autonomy to show up anytime is really nice. The check-in instructions were perfect, and we had a safe place for our bicycles. Breakfast was high quality with homemade products.

The place has a very pleasant atmosphere: a courtyard shaded by vines, a spacious lounge with a good supply of beverages including excellent local wines, rooms are nice and clean, breakfast excellent. We felt very well cared for.

Everything was great.

Perfect hotel if you are biking the EV6. There is a dedicated secure bike storage room. We received a warm welcome from Julia when we arrived who made sure we had everything we needed and suggested an excellent restaurant for our evening meal. This is a classic hotel that has a beautiful courtyard. Our room was large and spacious and very clean. Not all rooms have a bath tub but ours did. (Room 11) If you are reading reviews about an older gentleman those reviews are not current and are out of date. New owners have taken over and are putting lots of effort into making this a great little hotel. A fridge is located in the common area providing cold beverages if you so choose. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of locally sourced organic products available. We were fortunate in that we could enjoy our breakfast in the lovely courtyard. As an added bonus the hotel is located adjacent to one of the best wineries in the region. Literally next door.

beware that the walls of the rooms are very thin; we unfortunately could hear people talking in the room next to us, and a baby crying during the night in some rooms further.

The owner was super kind, told us about the building’s and hotel’s story, recommended the court yard of the restaurant - and that one was MAGICAL! Breakfast was really good as well, staff was kind and attentive. They have their own line of soaps and creams with their grapes, which was also very cool.

People during the night noisy drinking in the patio (not sure whether selling alcohol in the fridge is a good idea). Apart from that all was excellent!
