How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bush on the side of the building were being blown by the heavy winds and they rubbed against the wall making an awful noise all night.
Interior and exterior Design. Staff was awesome. Food was good.

Staff was polite, helpful and always there for you. Their location is amazing with serene mountain facing views from the room we had taken. Highly recommended for family travellers.

Internet connection did not seem to work for us.
It is a lovely hotel well-placed by the Brennar pass and good overnight option for ennroute to Italy. It has lovely views and I particularly enjoyed my evening meal. The family who run it seemed very friendly and I like that it is a locally owned place. The rooms were a good size, adequate parking and good atmosphere. Will return if in area again.

The breakfast was a little on the poor side - just a few choices of ham and cheese, three types of jam, soft boiled eggs. I must admit that the eggs were very fresh and cooked just right. Separate toilet - I know this is usual in Austria, but for me it does not make any sense.
Very friendly staff - always helpful and smiling - we very tired on arrival so we ordered the dinner and took it to our room. They helped us carry the food to the room - very nice of them. Good restaurant with nice portions and tasty food. Good sized room with comfortable beds. Very quiet, although it is situated near a very high traffic highway. Free parking. Good location, easily accessible by car. Good WiFi

The breakfast buffet was fairly limited The children's play area was good to have onsite but a shame as it was very worn out- the seesaw (wippe) was totally broken and the sandpit had almost no sand in! There was a wasp nest next to one of our windows so we could not open that one at night There was unfortunately no fan and it was uncomfortably hot in late summer
The room was very spacious and modern Nicely furnished The restaurant for breakfast was cosy and a nice atmopshere The staff were all very friendly Ample onsite parking

The only small thing for me was lack of any hot meals for breakfast. Some warm sausages would be more than welcome.
Fantastic hotel, great value for money. Very comfy beds, spacious room. Good parking, not far away from motorway. Great views! There is also very good restaurant with very fair pricing. And a lot of tasty beers.

The place might have more to offer during winter/cold period. For example there is sauna and massage facility which were not active during our stay ( end of June). Maybe a little bit over priced, but I have seen much worse!
The best thing about this property is the staff behavior and the location! It is really nice place to stay overnight and have a fresh morning start. The staff are very friendly, dinner and breakfast served in the restaurant are with quite good quality and taste. It really depends what you expect, do you want a quiet local hotel or a 5 star fancy one? This property surely doesn't feet in the second category! But walking around, quiet, very typical Austrian village hotel, that you get for sure. Enjoy your stay! :)

There were no extra blankets nor pillows in the room. No amenities like shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, ect
The room and bed were very comfortable. The bathroom was big. We had a nice view.
