Location was stunning , our view was beautiful to the mountains. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast had a decent variety and it was delicious as well (they prepared the egg dishes freshly upon request).

Great view and wonderful hosts. The dinner was the best we had during our trip. Breakfast is typical for Austria - some bread, ham, cheese, etc. I’d definitely add more vegetables. The room had enough of space, there was a fridge and shower was great too. There was a balcony with a view over the mountains.

Clean and spacious room, with a balcony with a view to the mountain. The host was welcoming and the food was great. Located in the quiet countryside yet a good spot for different hikes and attractions in the area.

Thomas and his wife are wonderful!!! They Are the most Kindest People we meets 😊❤️ Breakfast are the Best in Austria and at a great and fare price - fresh and delicious Wonderful Location for Hiking or any activities.. Superb and Spacious rooms The best Place to have family vacation with children’s at any ages We spent a wonderful time!! They even helped us with our laundry 🧺.. we were on traveling for several weeks ❤️🙏 Thank god we have the opportunity to meet such amazing people!!

Would have liked to have simple coffee/tea making amenities in the room, to be able to enjoy a hot drink while enjoying the view on our balcony.

We had a great (if short) stay, despite the rainy weather robbing us of the most of the great mountain views. Corner family room that looked out onto the misty and moody mountains (which was still nice), with wrap-around balcony to sit and enjoy the nature. Loved the two-room configuration (each with its own TV) that allowed the kids to do their own thing. Rooms were a bit chilly because of the unusually cold temperatures in August (heat was turned off), but bedding was warm and comfortable. so we were just fine. Everything super clean, and superman Tom running the place (and doing dinner and breakfast service!) was so nice and friendly. We opted to eat dinner there (tasty) and enjoyed the ample breakfast provided in the morning. Seems like a great place to base for hiking - I would stay again!

Very nice rooms with beautiful bathroom and terrace. Comfortable bed. Only thing missing was a fridge in the room. Nice view from the hotel. Tasty meals in the restaurant.

Stunning view and peace on highest level. We spent one night at Schöntal but we wished to have more time to be spent in this area. The host is extremely kind and helpful. Our rooms were clean and really spacious with balcony and a remarkable view. Breakfast is great with good options. There are free parking places around. We will definitely come back.

The host was extremely nice, great breakfast and super cosy the place. The view it's insane!!!! A bit far from the city but if you have a car it's 2 min drive.
