Very nice, spacious, quiet room that had been nicely modernised (I asked for a room away from the main road) Bike-friendly with a shipping container setup for bike storage Good restaurant for (reasonably priced) dinner and very good breakfast (also well-visited by locals)

Our room had a very unusual layout: very spacious, with the entrance through the bathroom. The curtains were just two strips of white paper, so the room was never dark. That said, the hotel is excellent overall—perhaps we were just unlucky enough to get the room designed by a lunatic

We stopped here in Weer while biking on the Inn River Bike Trail. The staff were all wonderful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. They had a dedicated secure place to store our bikes. It was just a short walk to a nice grocery store as well. We had a wonderful view of the Inn River Valley from our balcony.

We stayed at the hotel as an overnight stopover on the way to Lake Garda and because it was next to Swarovski Kristal world. On arrival we were warmly greeted and informed of all meal arrangements. My wife is Coeliac so we asked about Gluten free options and he arranged for GF bread rolls to be ready for breakfast. He also explained what we could eat on the evening We were not disappointed when we had our evening meal. The food was amazing and for a very reasonable price. I had the chicken with grilled veg and potato croquettes.... Fantastic, had my taste buds tingling. Although the GF choices were limited, my wife had a very nice chicken salad. Breakfast next morning was equally as good with my wife having her GF rolls and soft boiled eggs, as well as lovely fresh fruits etc. Our room was probably the biggest room we have ever stayed in and bathroom spotless with a very large shower cubicle Only wish we had been staying longer if only for the restaurant!!

Nothing to dislike. Lack of Aircon ??? But it didn't bother us as it wasn't hot when we arrived.

Gasthof Schmalzerhof is a fantastic place to stay! The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. But what truly sets it apart is the service—everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I felt completely at home thanks to their warmth and hospitality—something I’ve rarely experienced in this part of the world. Highly recommended!

there is a lowered ceiling above the nightstand my mother hit her head. the bed was not very soft

Good hotel for a short stay. Friendly stuff (really, they know how to talk in English!) and beautiful landscape.

No water for drinking :( And Wifi was quite bad.

All well. We were travelling to Italy. When the time came, we look at the nearest hotels to our location. Good choice. Staff - very friendly and professional. Excellent food

The bar and restaurant (simple, good quality and very reasonably priced) are lively with locals and regulars. A very good overnight stay.
