Situated in a remarkable location along the Danube, the hotel offers truly impressive views from its restaurant and terrace. A real bonus was the dedicated and secure garage for bicycles. The furnishings are a tasteful reflection of Austrian traditions, creating a lovely atmosphere.

Perfect for cyclists & anyone who enjoys peace & quiet. Sat looking over the Danube bridge the rooms were squeaky clean & big. The staff were wonderful & helped us out immensely when the Danube flooded & a storm made it impossible to continue with bikes. They arranged a taxi with bike trailer to take us on to next destination.

Everything was ok, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is perfectly located, right on the Danube bank, directly connected to the bike route Donauradweg. The cozy little town Grein is 2 km away, accessible on a pleasant walk by the river side or on a short bike ride. The bicycle garage is easily reachable and safe, the restaurant overlooking a terrace and the Danube, with a fine and tasty menu. The staff are welcoming and prompt, explaining everything in good English. Rooms are large, nicely furnished with stylish wooden furniture, the beds are super comfortable, the bathroom well equipped. Breakfast has little choice, but of good quality products.

Noise due to the traffic across the bridge as long as you keep the windows open. Lot of mosquitos and restaurant closing very early.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Gasthof is situated near Danube river and small town Grein. We had booked the family room. It was the same as on the pictures, quite large and really comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good. There is the restaurant in the Gasthof, that offers dinners and lunch on request, in the evenings it turns into bar :-) You found there everything you need. We travelled with a dog, that was welcomed as well. We chose this Gasthof as it was only 10 minutes of drive to Clam Rock Festival and it was definitely a very good choice. We'll return there anytime. I recommend it to everyone :-)

The rooms with view have the downside of the car passage on the main road and on the bridge at night and morning (especially if you want to keep open the windows during the night). However they have the view on the Danube and Grein town. The breakfast was ok, definitely not exceptional.

Good location if you are biking along the Danube. The hotel has a quite good restaurant. A good bike storage available. A nice view on Grein town.
