Appartment and location

The owner have sent me a confirmation code and later she just told me that we had bad luck and got to hell. She was very unfriendly. I would not recommend this place for anyone!

Nice location in the mountain range. The room was spacious and even had a small cooking area if needed. Breakfast was nice. The bed was comfy.

The town is very quiet in the evening even during summer season so it was extremely difficult to find dinner. Something to keep in mind to plan ahead!

+ free (public) parking place across the street + kitchen that has everything you need to cook and so on + fridge + microwave + table + chairs + several seats to sit in the room + spacious room + several different lights in the room + curtains that could darken the room at night

- bit of an old style (but we did not mind much; we stayed two nights)

Friendly host, earlier check-in possible. The room was clean and bright, with a nice view of the mountains. Parking is free of charge just across the street. In spite of the renovation of the hotel, the host did her best so that we felt there like at home. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay if you're looking for something uncomplicated, quiet, set ina village but close to the mountrains. Our apartment had absolutely everything we could have needed, the host was lovely and our late arrival was no issue at all. There is a bakery next door with a great offering plus a supermarket down the road. Opposite is a sports equipment shop where we could rent skis and boots. Overall great stay, we'd book again!

Well placed, really old school appartment, very helpful host. Spacious room There was a rocking chair in my room! :-)

Kitchen in the appartment was a little bit dated.

Location in Spital am Pyhrn.

Could be a beautifull piece of history,if refurbished. Unfortunately,it is not and dark scary corridors and rooms do not add to the atmosfere. Mattresses were comfy,but we found used bed linen on one double bed - wrinkled dirty pillow and duvet with someone's hairs on it- not ours. Bathroom was clean. No host available at check in or check out. Sorry to say,but at €175 per room and night this is a joke. No circumstances could justify to collect such a sum from guests without a proper investment into the business and service,neither in the austrian Alps.

We did not get apartment, which we booked. If I order apartment with separate bedroom and living room with sleeping sofa, I obviously have some reason for it (I snoor a lot and my friend have very light sleeping). Immediately I asked housekeeper for apartment, which we ordered, and I was told that she do not have any other room and it is problem of Booking, not hers. She also told me, that we should be happy, that we get totally new “apartment” (it meant unfinished in some details). Equipment in kitchen, for example did not had caffemaker, which was advertised and some other equipment, but this is just detail… Second thing, when I want to enter or leave accommodation which I am paying for, I really do not enjoy when next to the enter are two totally drunk guys who are screaming something on everybody who enter or leave the building. If it will be other guests, well, ok... But when I found out next morning that at least on of those two guys is emploie or family member of the owner, there is something wrong. To summarize - if we were not come there at 8 pm and were not really tired after whole day hiking, I would have sent complaint to Booking and try to find another accommodation. Housekeeper told me that next time we have to call to be assured that we will get apartment, which we ordered, but there will be never next time, trust me… Btw. in reviews, I read about great breakfast. I do not eat much in the morning, so for me it was ok. But for my friend (girl with weight less then 60 kilo), meant this breakfast just that we immediatelly went for second breakfast to caffeteria nextdoor…

Excellent big, clean rooms. Nice pillows and duvets in comfortable beds. Very polite staff. Tasty breakfast and many cups of coffee.

The starry night installation on the ceiling was incredible. You'll see what I mean when you turn off the lights. 😁 Breakfast was nice. The room was spacious and clean.

Location was good for a midway point on our trip to Croatia.

Host was unfriendly and kinda aggressive.

Super clean apartment. But what we really liked is the host. Owner was really friendly and nice and prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. Sure property is outdated but it has his own charm and it was really clean.

Nice apartment, very good location, free parking on the other side of the street.

No possibility to store ski and no heater for ski boots.
