How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The light in the rooms. The wall weRe dark and the light was very poor.

No AC in the room. And this hotel is definitly not four star hotel. Maybe once was but not anymore.
Nice stuff ready to help, very good location if you want to visit Schonbrunn or city center with metro. Good breakfast. The eggs was really good.

no air conditioner in my room, they put a fan instead and the first night was hot, we opened the windows so ye could continue sleeping

The weather was pleasant, so we didn’t need AC, though it would be a good addition. The window couldn’t be closed as it was stuck.
Great location, super friendly and supportive staff, and the room was nice, clean, and spacious. Nearby parking available for €10/day. Good breakfast selection available.

More info on how to check in after 22.00, as there is no stuff in the hotel after that.

The hotel does not have parking for cars. The room was very hot (we were there in July), but the apartment had two fans, which helped us endure the heat. On the first day (when we arrived), there were no towels in the hotel room. We only noticed this on the evening of the first day because we spent the whole day in the city. When we returned in the evening, we noticed that there were no towels in the apartment, but there was nothing at the reception desk. However, we did receive towels the next morning (after asking the girl working at the reception desk). We hope that this was an oversight on the part of the hotel staff, but we had to improvise on that hot evening.
The hotel is in a very good location, with many popular attractions nearby (easily accessible on foot or by metro). The metro station is very close to the hotel. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. There are plenty of places to eat near the hotel, and a grocery store is nearby. Upon arrival, drinking water was left in the hotel room (and replenished daily), which was a pleasant surprise.

The extra bed in the room for 3 was really uncomfortable, sleeping on the floor would be maybe better than that. The hairdryer wasnt working and air conditioning in hot weather is very much needed, but the ventilator helps a little. A small fridge would be great as well, but overall great for a short stay.
Our room was clean and good looking, the location was also great. The quality was really good for the price. There were no sounds bothering us, the soundproofing is good.

The staff were consistently refill tea/coffee/water for us, and didn't change our towels.

Staff at breakfast almost cleared the table although I clearly wasn't finished yet.

My stay was comfortable and relaxing. The receptionist - called Melina, I think - found my reservation in no time, speaks perfect English among other languages, and seems really experienced in hospitality. She explained everything proactively, was friendly, efficient, and took care of things like late checkout and storing my luggage quite seamlessly.

Seems like the personnel was a hit or miss. Day of check-in, the receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming. The following day, after an issue with a faulty A/C in the room, the 2nd receptionist was not as pleasant. After insisting on providing a resolution to a scorching room, she offered a fan for the night and stated that all she could do.. She didn't forget to omit the fact that it was my last night at the hotel, and that clearly played a factor in finding a better resolution. The maintenance man had a bit of an attitude as well, it seems.
Location was great. 10 min walk away from the nearest subway station. Plenty of restaurants nearby for consumption. Room is spacious and updated. Plenty of sunlight available. Beds were quite comfortable.

I would like a shared terrace or balcony for smoking. And also minifridge for beers.
