The TV screen was very small, and the mini-fridge was inside a locked cupboard, for some reason. Even when you unlock the cupboard, you have to pull hard to open it, because the door of the cupboard is attached to the door of the fridge, and you are pulling both. There is no handle, so you are pulling along the edge of the cupboard door with your fingertips. The logic of this escapes me, and it is not very convenient. Once you manage to open the fridge, you will find that it is very small, and there is barely space for anything else other than the drinks included in the mini-bar.

The staff were great, always polite and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to the subway and major tourist attractions. It's inside a narrow street with a couple of restaurants. The room was sometimes quiet at night, and sometimes noisy. The view looked out over the rooftops; no view down to the street. The bathroom was great, with a comfortable shower stall and hooks on the door if you need them. This may seem like a small thing, but there are little pockets on the sink where you can put bar soap and it won't slide. I found that feature really thoughtful and convenient. The room was quite small (compared to those of other hotels at the same level), and the overall ambiance (lobby, elevator, hallway, etc.) was unimpressive. That said, it is conformable enough and serves the purpose.

Didn't book breakfast. However this was offered at the adjoining restaurant for an additional cost of 25 Euros, which to be fair is a little expensive and you can get a better value for money breakfast elsewhere.

The room is small, there is not fitness room or pool as there is in new hotels, but I really shouldn’t expect such amenities in vintage hotels in downtown Vienna.

LOCATION! It was within walking distance to every attraction on my list.the staff were very friendly and showed concern about my co Fort and well being.

I was disappointed with the male receptionist that I asked to book me a taxi to the airport a day before my flight and he failed to do it , it was just good that I asked again at night and the male receptionist ( different from the other one,) did it straightaway..

It's very centre to everything, I love my morning walk and come back to the hotel to freshen up and then come back out to explore more. It's like being ay home :)

Overall the hotel is a bit dated, looking oldish. This is not a problem per se as everythign works well, just something to be aware of to manage one's expectations.

The room was rather small, though this was properly advertised, and it could get a little hot at night. The light available was probably well suited to current energy-saving demands , but an extra lamp wouldn't go amiss.

Excellent location on a quiet side street about 150 metres from St Stephen's Cathedral. Super attentive staff. 24 hour front desk. Room cleaned daily. Furnishings recreating imperial setting. Free supplies of tea and coffee refilled daily, as well as contents of minibar (reasonably priced). "Traditional" touch with elements for shoe polishing in the room.

The check in time was long, because the reception couldnt find the copy of the paid reservation! They didnt trust that the reservation was fully paid, till the moment they found it it tooks time. No one apologize for this untrust

The bed had a very firm mattress. The second night we were supplied with a mattress topper which helped somewhat.

Room is small for single person,seat in the room is not comfortable.There is small tv which automatically plays ads of hotel which is annoying and you have to close it every time manually from buttons below.Space of the room is limited and furnitures are very old which has to be replaced.

Very nice hotel in the center of city.Reception and staff welcomes you very friendly.Speed of Internet is ok,breakfast is good,coffee and bakery products are tasty.Bed is very comfortable,cleaning service works flawlessly,Bathroom is very nice,pressure of water is strong and easily water heats up.Location at its best which are close to all touristical and historical attractions also metro station is nearby which takes only 1 min to go on foot. Last thing i would like to say is staff is wonderful and highly motivated,you never wait for any second when you need something else,I think strongest point of this hotel is service quality of staff which you will definitely get satisfied.
