Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomParking is expensive at 18euro per day, but for a one off, short stay its worth it for the convenience. The pool is lovely but when the weather is bad/its busy, there are not enough loungers/seats by the pool area. When its dry you can use the outside loungers too but at busy times there isnt much room.
The hotel is new, very clean and comfortable with good central location and easy parking underneath the hotel.. The breakfast is great and ok for Gluten free options, loads of choice and all fresh and great quality. Rooms have kettle, fridge and coffee machine- perfect! Suprise treat for birthday was a lovely extra!

United StatesI can't think of anything, even parking is an onsite garage underneath the building and is reasonably priced.
Great new hotel near center of town. Great breakfast buffet and over-all good experience while staying there for 3 nights. Compared to other hotels in Austria, this one was by far the nicest one I could find, especially for the money!

HungaryA la cartre restaurant dinner was very good, however some staff members were unskilled in hospitality. A rather unpleasant incident occurred one evening when one of the waiters brought out the dessert menu and then, just as we were about to order, the head waiter announced that the kitchen was closed. The neighboring table had been served dessert a few minutes earlier. The head waiter was quite rude when I complained.
The hotel is brand new, modern and stylish. Deluxe Double Room was nice and clean, with special interior design. Staff was mostly kind and helpful. Parking is available in public garage below the hotel. Wonderful terrace for breakfast. Very helpful receptionist in night shift.

Czech RepublicWe were absolutely delighted with our stay! The hotel is perfectly located in Bad Ischl, making it an ideal base for trips to the surrounding mountains and lakes. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and truly delicious, and the dinners were equally excellent – always well-prepared and full of flavor. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and new, so we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The wonderful wellness area was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. We would be happy to return!

GreeceThe only drawback, I would say, is that it doesn’t have its own parking. However, from what I understood, parking seems to be an issue in the area in general.
We had a wonderful time. The place was well-maintained and tastefully decorated. There were no problems at all. All the amenities and facilities were excellent, exactly as described. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Located in a very beautiful and quiet area. The breakfast was exceptional. If we visit this place again, it will be our first choice. I highly recommend it.

Czech RepublicWe wouldn’t say there was anything we truly disliked, but there is some room for improvement. For example, with the half-board option, there were a few points of confusion, and the menu did not include any “daily specials,” which left us feeling somewhat limited in our choices. That said, the food itself was excellent – so much so that we didn’t mind ordering the same dishes again. Another area that could be improved is communication about parking options. We only learned about the underground parking during our stay, and purely by chance, because at check-in we were told it wasn’t yet operational. We also found the parking fee quite high. It might have been easier if it were simply included in the room rate, as paying separately each day at the exit became a little inconvenient. The daily rate of €18 did feel like a lot, although we understand it within the context of the town’s approach to car traffic. It did, however, leave us with the impression that cars are not especially welcome. Perhaps that’s not the case, but next time we may consider staying outside town centers that are less car-friendly. This feeling was reinforced when driving around, as it seemed visitors often end up circling the city several times in search of suitable parking. Additionally, the lighting in the rooms could use some fine-tuning. For instance, try turning on the light at night when heading to the bathroom, the result is the whole room being illuminated, inevitably waking up your sleeping companion. A bit more thoughtful lighting design would make a big difference.
Overall, we were truly delighted with our stay at this newly built hotel. From the very beginning, it was clear that they had set the bar impressively high. A special thank you goes to the restaurant staff – their warm and professional approach made us feel completely at home. The atmosphere was both pleasant and elegant. Dinners were simply excellent, and breakfasts were of a consistently high standard, offering a great start to each day. Although we had chosen a smaller room without a balcony, it was thoughtfully designed, cozy, and equipped with modern technology that made our stay even more comfortable. Another highlight was the inviting swimming pool, sauna, and fitness area, which ensured we had a wonderful time even when the weather wasn’t on our side.

IsraelTiny refrigerator. Parking costs EUR18/day. Although it makes perfect sense not to charge guests who do not use car for parking, Booking site states “private parking” which might be interpreted as “free parking”.
New, 3-month old hotel, everything is sparkling new. Spacious room, large bathroom and shower. Perfect location 5 min walk from the center. Exceptional variety and quality of the breakfast. Spa and gym. Special elevator into the SPA area. On-line check in and check is helpful.

Czech RepublicThe half board is not worth the price. Unlike most alpine hotels which offer a four-course menu with a starter/salad bufet, this one is a choice from a menu for all three courses. They pretend to be a luxurious restaurant with large plates and little food. The food was tasty and well prepared, but the staff was a bit rude. The dinner is until 21:30, but that means you are expected to leave by then, so when we came 45 minutes before closing, we were told we were late and needed to hurry up with our orders, not giving any consideration to the fact that we had a child with us and therefore had to translate and explain to her every item on the menu. They gave us the menu with some prices on it and we had no clue how the pre-paid half board was supposed to work, as one would not expect to be presented with the prices if already included in the package.
The hotel is nice, modern and clean, with a warm swimming pool. The reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices, fresh fruit and vegetables, various breads and buns, pastry, cereals etc. Little details such as chocolates in the room are very nice.

Czech RepublicTo be honest, I don't see anything. It was a world class experience, the best we had in Austria.
Amazing staff, perfect breakfast (those waffles were something else!), a spotless pool with just the right water temperature, a great bar, and everything absolutely pristine. Every detail was on point. We travel to Austria several times a year, and this was by far the best experience we’ve had. Can’t wait to come back.

LithuaniaI wish organic tea bags were in paper and not "plastic like" bags that are shown by studies to release millions of micro plastic particles, and take out breakfast could be better because a few dry sandwiches and a fruit didn't feel good.
This is probably the best hotel I've been to in the last year, not because of super luxury or anyting like that but because everything is so well thought out, it's evident that this is not their first hotel, all the tiny details + fresh juice, lots of organic things, just lovely, epic.
