Shower floor/bathroom could get a little slick when someone showered, and I always appreciate a little extra tea!

We rented two separate apartments including the luxury suite with deck/hot tub/kitchen. The views were spectacular and the rooms quite comfortable. Private garden/swim area was a bonus we were not aware of when we booked. It's an enchanting location, and our hosts were gracious and accommodating.

Shuttle transfer from car park to hotel as described did not happen. It was very unreliable and we were not the only ones that were impacted. We ended up walking which was not so bad despite the intense heat as we had back packs and are reasonably fit. It would not have been possible if you had lots of luggage or health problems. Staff were not sympathetic at all to other guests who complained.

Room was great and the breakfast (additional charge) was excellent - we didn't need lunch so ended up being quite economical!

The only disadvantage is the stair to go up, especially when we have to carry big luggages.

We got a quite spacious comfortable room during our stay with a beautiful Hallstatt Lake view. The staffs, especially Sandra and her colleague Otti, are very helpful and friendly. They are awesome.

We asked for breakfast and couldnt here anything till the next morning after 10 am. We tried to call them and they didnt answer. We msged them but they gave an answer hrs later.

We got surprising upgrade to suite room. Hot tub was very nice after long walk.

The ad offered an outside deck and hot tub however the room didn’t include either. Also, the emails instructed me to provide a phone number because someone would call me with instructions for entry, however my emails went unanswered and nobody called me.

It was unbearably hot in our room, there was no check in or check out process outlined, the towels were very thin for the amount we were paying, and there was no soap for the shower or toilet.

The design of the room was beautiful. The views were top notch, and the windows leading out to the lake were superb.

Shower drain was clogged. There is a movement detection light that was unable to switch off, because we were with a cat, it was always flashing at night every time cat moved

The room does not offer value according to its extremely high price. We paid for almost €400 a night, breakfast was not included. Sauna was not included (€35 per person). At other hotels, those were normally included. Apart from check-in, you don’t see anyone here to provide any kind of service. So although the room is pricey, you are not offered help or service in the entire duration of your stay. You will receive many emails from the hotel before check-in. Yet, when we actually needed help, no one was there to answer - no reply to our emails. According to the hostel , the shuttle bus to P1 parking lot operated half hourly. But we waited for more than half an hour, no shuttle bus came. In the meanwhile, the Heritage Hotel shuttle bus drove past us twice during that half hour. After we walked all the way to the P1 parking lot, we found the shuttle bus parked at the parking lot empty and dead.

The rooms are interestingly designed and clean. It has a good location. Our view is blocked by the roof in front of our room, but you can still see some beauty of the lake. However, it is an Airbnb-like house rather than a hotel, so you have to manage your expectations. The owner reminds you multiple times that you are staying in an ancient house and that you are bound to protect it.

We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs from the street. I thought this might be the case from previous destinations similar to Hallstatt and had everything packed into a smaller bag. There was no storage or hanging space and a rod that was approximately 50cm with 6 coat hangers to hang our clothes on, also no drawers. Keep in mind that No breakfast is served here either. Being Winter nothing was open early. We stay in alot of 4 and 5 star accomodation and felt that the price was high for what we received.

It’s a beautiful historic building that has been tastefully renovated and located in the centre of town. Our room was somewhat spacious and had a pleasant view of the lake. For a small fee the staff were able to get our laundry done also. The room and bathroom we’re also clean.

Definitely staff was missing. We only met one employee who helped us with the luggage, while the suit has a separate entrance but we needed to call several times. The hotel supposed to serve breakfast at the room, which was also confirmed in the email they sent before arrival - but when we asked for it they just said due to missing employee capacity they can’t. Than we asked where we can have a breakfast- because we were leaving early and most of the restaurants were not opening before 10; they said they will ask another hotel for us and inform us but they never did…

We booked the luxury suit with lake view & terrace. The room was very modern & fresh designed - really clean. The view was breathtaking, soo beautiful. The terrace was also a very good choice, we ate the dinner at the terrace table, our view was better than most of the restaurants… There is a hot tub at the terrace - we did not use but definitely a good option.
