The landlord is very welcoming, the house is very tidy and clean, and everything is very complete.

The host was really nice and friendly and gave us lots of information. Hosts could not have been any better. There was further information in the room and leaflets downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with gadgets and the shower was amazing. The apartment had everything you could need and more and was very centrally located. The balcony was a great place to have breakfast and the board games kept us busy in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had an amazing experience staying at Haus Braumandl in Bad Ischl. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The apartment itself was comfortable with all the amenities, clean, centrally located, and exactly like the photos. A local bakery service was also offered for breakfast. It was also very family-friendly, with toys provided for our toddler, as well as a crib and a high chair. There was even a playground outside, which our little one loved. Additionally, the hosts drove us to the train station, making our departure smooth and stress-free. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bad Ischl!.

The Braumandl family are great hosts, very friendly, offering sightseeing tips and helpful with anything. We came with public transport and the location is right in the middle of the city, the attractions can be reached conveniently by foot. We slept really well in the bed, nice clean bedding, a cute historical balcony and although the temperature outside was hot, the temperature inside was still nice. This is due to the thick walls of this historical house.

The Franzl apartment has a good size, except the bathroom is very small and might be ready to receive an upgrade in the next year's to come. However given the fact that everything else was great, we can still recommend this apartment.

Everything was perfect, starting from lovely owners/hosts, through great location of the apartments in a walking distance to all the attractions of the town. Apartments were fully equipped in everything you need.

Cozy and spacious apartments. Very clean, well equipped apartments, ideal location. Convenient access from the highway. Near the city center, shops, restaurants and cafes, 10 minutes walk to the thermal baths, 15 minutes walk to the train station. The owners of the house are very nice and friendly people. It was a pleasure for us to communicate with them.

Very clean, and well equipped with kitchen and other equipment. Great welcoming hosts who gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble, even though we had no need to ask. plenty of useful information in the apartment about local facilities and attractions in both English and German languages. Great central location for the Austrian Lakes with easy walking access to trains and buses if you have no car. We hardly used our hire car. Great access to local walks. Warm welcome on arrival with plenty of useful advice and information verbally and in print. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for couples wanting a great base from which to launch.

Balcony over busy road during daytime meant quite noisy, but quiet when doors closed. Not the owner’s fault, but worth considering if you planned to stay in the apartment a lot during the day - but don’t as there is so much to see when you leave it !

This was an incredible stay in Bad Ischl! The hosts were so accommodating and gave us such detailed and helpful information and recommendations! We felt like part of the family. The apartment was roomy, private and comfortable, with everything we needed. We loved being able to do laundry, use the kitchen and relax after a long day touring around. The location was also great! A quick walk to all the attractions and to the train and bus station. Perfect place to set up as your home base to explore the lake district, Hallstatt and beyond.

We loved everything about our stay at Haus Braumandl. My only tip for Bad Ischl as a whole is that it's pretty small and stores and restaurants can have odd hours, so be sure to check hours ahead of time if you need to stock up on groceries or make dinner reservations in advance. We had trouble finding dinner one night because everything was packed and the grocery store was closed.
