Not unexpectedly for a large estate house such as this, hot water takes a long time to come, especially since we were staying on the top floor. You have to be patient - it eventually does arrive! Only one window has a flyscreen, so on warm nights expect visits by mosquitoes.

The rooms are in a historic guesthouse and have been beautifully renovated in period style, and are very spacious and comfortable. All the modern conveniences are provided. The house is set within a large garden estate, which is lovely. Communication with the host is excellent. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay long enough to fully enjoy the experience.

We had an amazing stay at Herrnhof! The estate has a fascinating history and is perfectly located at the foot of the mountains with unbelievable views all around. Hiking trails start just nearby, which made it a perfect base for our adventures. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The apartment itself was perfect - fully equipped, and incredibly comfortable. A truly memorable experience!

No Shampoo and soup.

Amazing, This place is amazing!!!!!! Big and clean property with access to the river, Has a playground for the kids. House is renovated nicely but still has a old feeling of high celling and large space. Kitchen had everything. Host helped with whatever we needed. Even gave my kids a ball to play with.

Just to be aware some apartments are on the third floor with no elevator, however Johannes was extremely helpful getting our luggage all the way up to our apartment.

It's like travelling back in time (in the best sense): it's a beautiful estate in the countryside with a lot of original details surrounded by a park, next to a stream amidst the mountains. The apartment was huge with an amazing parquet floor, country style doors and contemporary furniture.

Great location, 15 min walk (also with kids) to the cable car. I travelled alone with kids and was worried about transportation around but there was a free shuttle that took us from the train station and around the area when we needed it (for free).
