How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThis was our sixth stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Wiener Neustadt. This property is located almost in the city center, close to the old town and a beautiful park. The property is also adjacent to the historic Capuchin monastery. The area around the hotel is quiet and friendly. It is worth emphasizing that the hotel has very nice staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant. Guests have at their disposal: free parking, fitness center, restaurant, bar, terrace, 24-hour reception and free WiFi in all areas. All hotel rooms are air-conditioned. We chose a family room, which had: a large and comfortable king-size bed, a sofa bed, a desk, a kettle, a fridge, a safe, a flat-screen TV, an ironing board, an iron, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Each room is equipped with towels, bath gel, shampoo, soap, tea and coffee making facilities, sugar, as well as still and sparkling water. The continental breakfast is served at the property. The dishes served (hot and cold) delight with their variety and excellent taste. The offer includes many meat and vegetable dishes. The same applies to drinks: very good coffee, many different types of teas, juices. A big attraction for children are waffles and pancakes, as well as a variety of desserts and cakes. I heartily recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Wiener Neustadt hotel both as a place to rest during onward travel, but also as a destination stay.
On weekdays, the breakfast menu (though delicious) is slightly less diverse than on weekends. The hotel restaurant is only open until 9:30 PM.

The property also adjoins the historic Capuchin Monastery. The hotel's surroundings are quiet and friendly. It's worth noting that the hotel offers very friendly service, both at the reception and in the restaurant. Guests have access to free parking, a fitness center, a restaurant, a bar, a terrace, a 24-hour reception, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. All hotel rooms are air-conditioned. We chose a family room, which featured a large and comfortable king-size bed, a sofa bed, a desk, a kettle, a refrigerator, a safe, a flat-screen TV, an ironing board, an iron, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Each room is equipped with towels, shower gel, shampoo, soap, tea and coffee making facilities, sugar, and sparkling and still water. A continental breakfast is served on site. The dishes served (hot and cold) are varied and delicious. There are many meat and vegetable dishes on offer. The same goes for the drinks: excellent coffee, a wide variety of teas, and juices. Waffles and pancakes are a big hit with children, as well as a variety of desserts and cakes. Hotel staff are helpful if you need to store ice packs in the freezer. This is a great convenience if you're traveling the next day. I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Wiener Neustadt, both as a rest stop on your journey and as a final destination.
It's a pity that the hotel restaurant is only open until 9:30 p.m.

If you buy breakfast separately it is really expensive, 28 euro/per person.
