The staff were absolutely brilliant-friendly and helpful throughout. The spa and pool were both enjoyable.

It was an interesting experience staying in the chalet - the mountain view was lovely, though somewhat spoilt by the sheer number of campers around. The chalet itself felt a little cramped, so it’s perfectly fine for a one-night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying any longer.

We left early, and the reception is open from 8 o'clock. I warned the young man about this at the check-in. I was shown the place where there would be a drawer in which I could put the keys. I didn't see the box in the morning. I had to go up to the chalet to leave the keys inside the room. I don't understand why the campsite administration didn't provide for an early departure. I couldn't write the information that I leave the keys in the room right away, because the free Internet was constantly turned off and it was like this all the time during our stay. There is no way to call a car from the chalet to go down to the reception, restaurant and swimming pools, so you need to be in good physical shape. And when, after checking out, I was able to read the message from the administration, it turned out that at check out, they wanted to give me a bottle of wine in gratitude for choosing this accommodation. This was especially gratifying, given that I had gone to prison early and the administration had been informed of this in advance.

Very cosy , the rooms are great! The sauna and the spa area are fantastic. The price is very fair. Dinner in the restaurant was great. The staff helped us with the bags. Very nice

I wish the sauna was open in the morning as well.

    - Super original little chalet perched on a hill - Bright, big, beautiful - (Partially) nice view on the forest and mountains - Extremely nice and helpful employees - As a bonus, the possibility to use the pools and sauna (beware, the sauna is a no-clothes area!) - Excellent breakfast, brought directly to your chalet!

    - Bathroom is very cramped, would have appreciated a bigger showerhead and some shelves to put your toiletries inside the cubicle - Although part of the view is nice, most of it is essentially the campers and camping cars. This is such a shame!

Really neat experience at Himmelchalet. I stayed in one of the chalets opposite of the ‘hill chalets’ so my view was really nice. The chalet was very modern and clean and overall everything was excellent. The check in staff and all staff for that matter were very friendly and accommodating. We went to the restaurant on site and it was fantastic. It does get busy though so make sure to reserve ahead of time, if possible, to get the desired time slot and restaurant (there are 2). The pool/ sauna area was nice but a bit small for all the families staying there. There is actually a lot of people staying at the property with all the campers and guests at the chalets combined. And just a heads up for the North American travellers who aren’t aware of the no bathing suit policy in the sauna (I had forgotten). Otherwise, very nice set up and my husband and I had a really nice stay! I would return if I was in the area.

The only thing I didn’t really like was the advertising for the chalet posted was a little misleading. For example, ‘ The pool with a view and sauna are the standout features of this chalet.’. To me this sounds like the chalet has a small pool and sauna ( which sounds too good to be true but hey) but it is in fact the property that has a pool with a view and sauna. Just one example. But otherwise everything was very nice.

Beautiful tiny homes. Brillant design, cool concept. Fantastic breakfast in a basket. Don’t miss it.

Location and views to campsite with all the vans..You need to be a camper at heart😃. I booked for the design of the chalets.

The location is perfect for hikes, very quiet and peaceful surroundings. The wellness area is very well done, it was so relaxing and clean. The service is top notch, we didn’t have hot water for two days in our lodge and they gave us a voucher for their restaurant, which was a nice compensation.

The indoor pool was too small and cold, and the lounge chairs in the pool area were worn out. Also, the changing area was too small and cramped.

    Everyhing (location, facilities,very clean)

The Staff was wierdly unfriendly and rude. We booked a Chalet and our friends came with the trailer. When we arrived they told us that our friends are not allowed to visit us in the Chalet, which i really didn’t understand why. For the money we payed i think the staff could have been friendlier and more understanding. I later saw this in the house rules but like I said, if the camping site is charging 4-star hotel-like fees they shouldn’t treat guests like high-school teenagers in summer camp. Also the free wifi was very crappy and we had to pay a fee to increase our bandwidth.

Great location, beautiful cozy chalets, good food at the restaurant

There is no air conditioning so it can get a bit warm during summer days The bed is a little small for tall people (over 1.9m)

Great breakfast, delivered to the room. Stuning view, super restaurant, friendly staff. Everything was perfect apart from the comment below, nevertheless, still a 10 since this in complaining on a very high level.

We personally found the pillows a bit to hard, we slept without. One hard and one soft option would be great. That was the only thing which did not fulfill our expectations, everything else was just awesome.
