We’re happy to hear that overall your stay was okay, but we’re sorry about the shower temperature - we will check this to make sure future Guests can enjoy a more comfortable experience. Regarding the location, it is true that we are not directly in the city centre. However, we are well connected by public transport, and the tram stop is just a few minutes away, making it easy to reach Innsbruck’s attractions quickly. Plus, our Guests are just a short walk from Schloss Ambras, one of Innsbruck’s most beautiful historic sites - a perfect spot for a morning or afternoon visit! As for the location, we understand your point. While we are a little outside the very center, most of our Guests really value being in beautiful, peaceful Amras, where you can relax and recharge. And with tram line 3, the city center is just a short ride away - close enough for easy access, but far enough for a bit of calm after a day of exploring. Cleanliness is our highest priority, and we are delighted when Guests notice and appreciate our efforts. We understand your concerns about the lack of elevator and it can be inconvenient, especially with luggage. However, we are always happy to help with luggage if needed. Regarding the location and view, we understand that it may not suit everyone´s preferences. Some of our rooms do face the highway side, but we also offer rooms with beautiful mountain views that differ only slightly in price. Our location is intentionally somewhat away from the city center, which many Guests appreciate for the peace and quiet, while we still provide convenient tram connections to downtown. All our rooms are strictly non-smoking, and unfortunately, some guests don't understand or respect the no-smoking policy in rooms, which can cause these unpleasant odors to linger. We truly believe that a good breakfast is the best way to start a new day full of mountain adventures. We are, however, sorry to read that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding your comment about the reception opening hours, we are a bit surprised, as our reception is always closed for a break between 11:00 and 14:00, which is clearly displayed on the front door and communicated in our booking confirmation. For this reason, our staff opened the reception precisely at 14:00, as scheduled. We also regret that you felt our team was not as welcoming as you expected. Please understand that we are only human, and sometimes each of us might have a more challenging day. Nevertheless, we always strive to welcome all of our Guests with respect and a smile. We will certainly discuss your comments with our staff to ensure an even warmer first impression in the future. Concerning the bed, please note that our double rooms feature a French double bed (140 cm wide), which is standard in many hostels. We understand this may feel different if you are used to larger beds, and we always try to describe our room types as clearly as possible in our booking information.
