Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Toilete is still smell after Urine and not properly clean. The pillow case and bed sheet looks like it was reused or did'nt change at all.

photos from the booking did not match the reality. instead of central heating we had electric heater. room was aimed for disabled person and smell was awful

The room could have been cleaner. The pillows were not very comfortable and the first night the room was very cold because the radiator was not working. Since we spoke with the contact person they fixed the radiator and provide us new pillows. The staff was very kind and helpful. The price for 2 nights compared with the facilities and the cleanliness of the room has highly expensive!!

Pleasant hotel with very friendly reception staff. The room was comfortable, but unfortunately the bathroom needs some maintenance as there was black mould all over the ceiling. No breakfast was available at the property but there was a great bakery / cafe across the road. Pleasant enough for a one night stay.

If you arrive late in the night no-one at reception. Your keycard will be stuck to the reception's locked office window in an evelope for pickup. No restaurant to eat in an evening but the bakery opposite on the corner is very good. Can sit and eat pastries/ sandwiches with coffee etc.
The reception lady is super super helpful. Very happy & goes beyond her duty. Explained how to get to the city centre, old town & places to eat when late. The location of hotel is good. Only a short 7/8 min bus journey to old town via number 3 bus. I suppose you could walk but would take alot longer. Good safe parking onsite. We stayed teo night and was nice to know the car was in a safe location overnight. Spaces are limited. Try to get here early as the 6/7 spaces get taken quickly. We just used this place as a base to sleep and for that its good value for money. Rooms are clean, basic but forwhat we needed - great choice.

There was no one at the hotel and nobody picked the phone as well. Finally the cleaning had to call and thats when the call was picked. The price shown in booking.com does not include city which was charged extra at the hotel.
The place was clean with an old charm ,very near to centre of Salzburg and ample parking space .

I recommend changing the check in-out system. Additionally, basic equipment such as electric kettles should be provided
I had a great time overall, and the location was a significant factor. The room heating was also very good.

When we first entered the room we saw 2 spiders between the bed and bathroom. There was bad smell from the bathroom area. The heating system was not working properly and was making a lot of noise. Even with earplugs it was not possible to fall asleep. The staff could not solve the issue or give us other room. I know that for this price there are not many options but would definitely recommend spend a bit more and find other hotel.
Parking is the only good experience we had. Low price of the room

EVERYTHING. The staff were not friendly, the smell, and the WiFi signal shows but it doesn’t actually exist. there is no single fridge in the whole hotel.
NOTHING. worst hotel I have ever went to. the room was a disaster, very dirty and the guy on the reception knew about it already.

outside looks rather untidy and shabby, but really that didn’t affect us.
location was great, just out of town but with a bus stop right out the front. 5-10 minute trip. great value for money, great little bakery across the street. clean and good size room .

We had bulk luggage and it would’ve been nice to be on a lower level to avoid 4 flights of stairs. The restaurant was also not open which was disappointing
