We had a wonderful stay at Jeff’s – Rooms with a Mountain View. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The location was peaceful yet very convenient, and the host shared excellent local knowledge. Breakfast was very good and made our mornings even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The pillows weren't very comfortable as they were too big and we had to sleep without them. This is of course a personal preference. Everything else was great.

The view from the room was amazing! There is a terrace to enjoy the mountains view to the fullest. Everyone was very nice and helpful. There is a parking if you are coming with a car. Hallstaad is nearby as well as other lovely villages.

We had a great stay in Bad Goisern, just a short distance from Hallstatt. The location was perfect—close to all the activities we enjoyed in the area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and well worth the price. The staff were exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

I didn’t notice any drawbacks.

Very beautiful view from the windows – you can see the mountains. The room is very tidy, the bathroom is sparkling clean, with no mold or dirt at all. Delicious breakfast. I'm very happy! You can hear birds singing and see cows or sheep in the mountains – it's very cozy.

It can be noisy when someone (probably some children in our case) is running upstairs.

Jeff was a most attentive host who answered all our questions and was unfailingly friendly and good-humoured throughout our stay, even though he was dealing with a power cut when we arrived. The breakfast was exceptional with freshly cooked eggs and bacon to order, a great selection of food and plenty of gluten free options for my wife. The property was well placed for visiting the wonderful World Heritage site at Hallstatt which was just a short drive or train ride away.

We arrived in the evening. No staff on site. Eventually I phoned contact number and was told keys in lock box. The tiniest road width wise to get to property. Larger vehicles would have difficulty.

We had such a lovely stay at Jeff’s place! The view was beautiful, the location peaceful yet convenient. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable – we slept like babies. Jeff is a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and with a great sense of humor that made the whole experience feel cozy and fun. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We accidentally overslept and were a bit late to check out, but Jeff was incredibly kind and encouraged us to enjoy our breakfast without any rush. Thank you so much – we truly appreciated the hospitality!

Air conditioning for the hot summer days and a small fridge in the room could improve comfort a bit, however they were not advertised, so this is more of a suggestion than a criticism. Everything was ok for us.

Great accommodation in a quiet location, combining modernity and tradition, with an excellent breakfast and very friendly service. Parking on-site and small balcony included.
