Hello!! I travel there with my mom, and the hotel is great! It is located a few metres from the parliament, and we love the location. It is also like a 20-minute walk to the Opera and Albertinplatz, which is where many of the free tours start. As for the hotel itself, for us it is fantastic, the staff are very kind and helpful. Before our arrival, they contacted us because the hotel was under renovation and they wanted to offer us a change of room. I have no idea how the other room was, but we were placed in a mini apartment, which for us was amazing because this way we have more freedom with the meals, and we have a small kitchen!

Breakfast was expensive but good quality

Last week, we had 3 lovely days in Vienna, saw lots of sites and attractions. We had a very pleasant stay at Josefhof am Rathaus hotel, which we found always clean, and well run, with a large room and good bathroom facilities. The location was very central and convenient and close to the U Bahn and Trams. But although location was central the Josefgasse itself was nice and quiet especially at night. I would especially like to mention Hotel staff who were always very friendly and helpful. Every night we had a couple of beers at your bar and Hotel bar staff made us feel very welcome.

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. Everything was very clean, the team was polite and helpful, and overall the experience exceeded our expectations. Special thanks go to Magdalena at the reception, who was absolutely amazing (she helped us with every question we had, assisted with reservations, gave us useful tips, and was always so attentive and kind). We also traveled with our two dogs, and we were impressed by how pet-friendly the hotel was. Our pups were welcomed with their own little beds, food pouches, and special bowls. Such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel even more at home. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return!

We had such a lovely stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. A sweet surprise of macarons was waiting for us in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to Vienna’s main sights. Our room was spotless, nicely decorated, with a really spacious bathroom, a kettle for making tea or coffee, and fresh tap water that tasted great. We had a little problem with a towel hook falling off, but after we mentioned it, they fixed it the very same day. Such a quick and thoughtful response! The Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked great too, which made everything even more comfortable. After checking out, we were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel, which was very convenient.

The only negative was that we had a very small bath with a shower over. The1 shower space was so tight that it was almost impossible not to soak the floor. So showers were not very relaxing.

I think it’s a bit too simple for a 4-star hotel, but I got it at a very good price so no complaints. I think the some of facilities in the room were a bit worn out.

The hotel is aesthetic, well located - not too central, not far from the main attractions and on a quiet little street. The surrounding streets are very sweet and it was nice to discover the little shops there. The staff were very nice and thoughtful, and the room was clean.

We stayed in a junior suite. In the moring on the day of our checkout, as I sat in the bed, a splashing and flushing sound could clearly be heard as if it was in my room. It was from behind the wall from another room or perhaps even the next building. Throughout our stay, the place was trully quiet, but that morning raised my brows.

Central location in Vienna, so sightseeing is easy on foot. Amazing breakfast. Friendly staff. Mostly very quiet.

The room facilities, cleanliness and email correspondence were very good. There was nothing to complain about. The metro station Rataus is close by, so I didn't feel inconvenienced going anywhere.

Nothing other than the narrow space around the bed that we mentioned earlier.

Room was good, except bit narrow either side of bed. Breakfast was excellent, choice & quality superb. Breakfast prosecco was a nice added bonus. The staff were very attentive, polite & helpful. A particular mention to the reception staff Tomas & Maria who provided great service and were very helpful with recommendations of restaurants & nearby facilities.
