Payment terminal was not working on the checkout. There has always been the boring part of the check-in/out.

Pricey hotel. Food is okay, but too expensive for what it is. Parking is like gambling, if you are lucky, your car stays unscratched. Wooden floors can ruin your nights if you have the wrong neighbors. It’s a design choice, not much the staff can do about it though.

Excellent facilities: the pool/sauna parts were really well done. And there are tons of things to keep the children entertained. The room was large and the beds very comfy. Besides, the food is good with a wide choice of dishes, and the location is both beautiful and conveniently located not far from the start of many trails.

Unfortunately, the wellness sauna and pool were not open due to repair.

The food and the service of the staff were excellent !! My cat was welcomed by them also. My kids even liked the old-school bowling place.

I was surprised to see that our rooms weren't cleaned! I will post some photos with proof. In the game rooms, in order to play... you have to pay extra (like 2€ / game - pool, table tennis, air hockey). When we've stayed, the spa was out of order, and this disappointed me so much because we've paid quite much, and we were expecting to repair the pool in a week, but they didn't.

The hotel is placed in the woods and, for this fact, is quiet enough. Usually, you have lots of facilities (breakfast, dinner, game rooms, spa), but not all the time. The receptionists gave us all the information needed and were very nice. Breakfast and dinner (18€ for a menu) are very good !

The hotel has a stunning location in a real quiet area, very close walkway to Mariazell. The staff is very helpful! Breakfast and dinner was highly above our expectation. The hotel also has a large swimming pool and a relaxing sauna area what we could use for free.

I would call it hostel quality even if some times hostels are better than this. The room was very basic and the mattress very uncomfortable. The bathroom was old with damages. The half board is 20 euros per person and the food quality was very low. The reception was most of the times busy (only one person was working) - we were waiting for 30 minutes to check out. 200 euros per night (with dinner) is super expensive for a hotel that has the service and quality of an one star hotel. * we were also charged at the check out 6 euros to borrow a bathrobe and nobody told us that we should pay for it in advance. A three stars hotel without even bathrobes provided for free is more like a hostel. Also, the room was not cleaned daily and we had even to ask for toilet paper.

The location who fine just 5 minutes from the ski resort - The pool was nice as well.

I don’t usually leave written reviews, but in this case, I feel compelled to share our experience. Due to illness, we were unsure whether we would be able to make the trip, so I contacted the hotel to inquire about their cancellation policy. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any response. I eventually managed to reach them by phone, and although the cancellation terms were fixed (which I understand), we would have appreciated the option to reschedule for a later date. In the end, we decided to arrive a day later, on December 31. Upon arrival, I attempted to register for the New Year’s Eve dinner but was informed that it was too late. It’s a shame that I wasn’t advised of the need for a reservation during my phone call with the hotel when I had adjusted our arrival date. While I understand that it might not have crossed their minds at the time, this was just the beginning of our disappointment. Because we arrived a day later, it was clear that we were assigned the last available room, likely due to uncertainty about our arrival. Unfortunately, the room was a wheelchair-accessible one, which, while practical for those who need it, can present inconveniences for others. The room itself was very small, and the shower had a faulty lever for adjusting water temperature that kept falling off and needed to be held in place during use—a frustrating issue. The pool was another letdown. It was so cold that hardly anyone used it, though, thanks to prior reviews, we at least expected this. Another impracticality was the combination of the reception desk and bar. During checkout (which we chose to do a day earlier than planned due to our dissatisfaction), we had to wait in a long line while the sole receptionist alternated between assisting unhappy guests ahead of us, unloading the dishwasher, and making coffee. His pace was excruciatingly slow—so much so that if there were a competition for the slowest receptionist in the world, he’d miss the starting line entirely.
