Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

FranceThe appartment is new and modern...a little too modern since I was unable to put some air conditionning with the technology. It wasn't an issue though, the appartment was cold enough. The beds are really good. I would have enjoyed a bed side table on m'y side. Apart from that all was good
The view from the appartement is beautifull and since we wanted to enjoy the lake, the place was perfect. I really recommend the area.

IsraelIt would have been nice if the full address of the property was on the site, so we wouldn't have to search so much to find it. Also, we reiceved a very long list of instructions and restrictions on arrival - some came off as pedantic and quite irregular (no shoes in the apartment, no hair in the sink etc. etc). As frequent and loyal guests in Booking properties we appreciate a more generous approach to hospitality, and found this off-putting. Note that the washing machine is not in the apartment but rather in the basement of the building and costs extra.
The apartment is beautiful, clean and in a great location, no doubt.

AustriaWhilst the living room is really spacious, I felt there was a lack of furniture and also equipment. The room would have been large enough for a second couch (apart from the one we used for sleeping) or maybe a shelf or cupboard. The kitchen equipment was also rather limited. We really enjoyed our stay however it could be so much more comfortable if only there were a couple of extra plates, pots and pans as well as more furniture.
The flat is in a perfect location, stunning view, check in was easy and well organised. We also got an email with all the relevant info, including about transport, shops... in the area the day before our arrival.
