The hotel was great. The staff, the restaurant, the quality of the food was great. We didn't eat out once as the food in the hotel was so good.

We had booked three separate rooms, all costing the same, but two of them were very dated in decor compared to the other. Also two of the rooms were above the smoking area and bar/disco, so the rooms did smell of cigarettes and there was loud music playing into the night. This wasn't the best after a long day on the slopes!

Food could be better

Really enjoyed our stay at Kohlerhof, everything about it was perfect. A charming hotel with a very alpine feel, located right by a bus stop to head up to Hochfugen ski area. Food was great, buffet style with a good choice. The spa area was excellent as well, perfect after a day on the slopes. We had one of the deluxe double rooms and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Nicely done out, it felt just the right level of luxury. Finally the staff were very friendly and helpful. When I got home to the UK I realised I'd left a jacket in the room, a quick call to the hotel and the jacket was posted back to me. Fantastic customer service! 100% recommended and will definitely stay here again!

I can give 5 stars for the SPA facilities, they have 2 pools - one for families with kids and one in SPA area where there is a wide variety of saunas and even a heated outdoor pool.

I booked a large family room in Kohlerhof Hotel with SPA and a ski lift 50m from the hotel. Upon arrival we were given an apartment in the middle of the town, about 5 min walk from the hotel in the apartment building. The apartment had one 1m wide bed in one room and a retractable bed from the wall in another room. There were 1m wide blankets wrapped in a single use blanket envelopes. The apartment did not have any shampoo nor a soap. When asked, the hotel provided us with 4 body lotions. I was asked by residents of the house to move my car so I had to leave it in between the hotel and apartment. Every morning we had to walk to breakfast and then back to get changed into ski uniform and then carry the skis to the ski lift, although I booked a hotel just to be very close to the ski lift. If I wanted to go for a spa, we would have to walk to the hotel, get changed and after the spa walk to the apartment which even did not look like a hotel. I asked 2x to change the room but the reception told us that they are overbooked although there were rooms available for instant booking. During 6 night stay we did not get a single cleaning and on top of that I was asked for a cleaning fee in a 4* hotel!!!

Room was clean and pretty spacious

Food was absolutely awful (the option included in the ski package), we waited for 2.3 hours for dinner on New Years Eve - when it arrived, it was cold. We didn't eat it.

Loved the price and location. They even dropped off at the train station. The sauna and pool were very relaxing after a long day of exploring.

Wellness area including sauna and outdoor swimming pool with Mountain View and very good restaurant with live performances at night ! The location of the hotel is excellent right next to the Spieljochbahn. The hotel is nicely equipment, the rooms are spacious and there are enough parking spaces. The wellness area is beautiful. I booked half board and the food was also fine, although having tried the hotel restaurant before several times, I was expecting a bit more.

I was staying at the Wellness part of the hotel and there is an ongoing construction in the lobby, which was a bit loud at times and it got quite tricky when coming in with my luggage etc. I would have expected a heads up about this at reception, but was given no prior warning. If I had known, I would have booked the main hotel building.

From the complimentary glass of Prosecco when checking in to the gift when checking out, this is one of the loveliest hotels I have ever stayed in...and I've stayed in a few! The room was superb with neatly laid out quilts, slippers, dressing gown, sweets. There was small complimentary bottles of Prosecco and orange juice. The ensuite was lovely with plenty of toiletries. The breakfast room was vast, but very tastefully designed. The range of food on offer for breakfast was overwhelming! Outside there's a large patio area, ideal for sitting and relaxing after a long day travelling on my motorbike. All the staff were very polite, warm & welcoming, most spoke very good English. I'm booking again for next year to take my wife and we'll stay longer this time.
