How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Flocks of travelling children and people playing music on their phone loudly during breakfast -- but that is not the fault of the hotel, just the guests this week!
easy check-in -- also after hours, perfect location (I work on campus), breakfast outside is basic but lovely -- no complaints at this price! Love the kitchen, the cleanliness and the overall dorm-feel.

Sinking mattress, really too soft. It seems the other was fine.
Veeery spacious room. Nice location - 15 min walk from the Steiner Tor and 10 to the ferry. Breakfast was plain but it had all you need - coffee, tee, cereals, buns (I didn't like any of 2 kinds of bread though), a selection of cold cuts, jams, some veggies, 2 types of wegetarian spreads.

Rooms were very very hot. Slept with windows open as no air con but that did mean we experienced some noise such as bins being emptied in the morning Signage in the parking garage could have been clearer.
Excellent quiet location handy for walking to the restaurants. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Breakfast was very good and included in the price.

it's dorm style housing so this is functional over aesthetics, but also here, nothing to complain about
good value, convenient location on Donau campus. Check in and out waa quick and straightforward. clean, solid breakfast, no complaints!

Very hot in the room and very, very hot in the bathroom.
Very clean room and comfortable bed. Perfect location, takes 10 minutes to be in the city center. Good breakfast, although it can be more diverse. Another plus is an underground parking-7 Euro per day.

It was all ok for the value of money. The kitchen could have been equipped with at least tea or coffee machine etc.
It is a student dorm, very modern, clean and well run.

The tube of the shower was damaged but it still could be used.
Everything was good and it worked for me. Getting the key for my room late at night was as described. Very good!

There is no air conditioning in the rooms so they get quite hot in the summer.
The room was large and the kitchenette was very useful. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. It is a great location for the Wachaubahn and Krems, and the rooms are great value.

The pillow was not okay, full of balls of foam. A suggestion: leave in the room 1 dish, 1 fork/knife, and 1 spoon, so it is easier to use the small kitchen.
Kolping is the best option to the one visiting Krems and that want to stay in a simples but complete hotel.

The Hotel is quite new but the rooms (especially the floor) seem old. (anyhow confortable) Not related to the Hotel, but in Krems on Sunday evening after 21.00 difficult to find something open for dinner
Position perfect for the University (it is inside the University). Breakfast good. Wifi very good. Useful inside parking but a t 10 AM you have to leave it. If you arrive on Sunday afternoon there is nobody at the reception so you need to use the check in thru SafeBox but it´s easy thanks to the email with the explanation (but don´t forget it otherwise you don´t enter in the Hotel).

We booked this room as it showed cooking facilities in the photo. We were disappointed to find there were no kitchen utensils at all . Not a saucepan or even a cloth to wipe up. We managed by using the microwave and our own cutlery etc
Easy to find and easy to access. It’s an amazing facility very close to the heart of Krems
