We had a wonderful stay, first relaxed at the pool and spa facilities, and then had a super tasty dinner at the hotels restaurants. Wonderful evening walk around the Vineyard Cellars. Breakfast was delicious too. Helmut and his team were very friendly and helpful. We will come again in future 😎

Shower pressure was low and WIFI just working in the reception area. At this price level l would expect both to work without issues as a standard service.

The host family was super nice and welcoming. Pool was refreshing and pretty cool after a long and sweaty day on the bike. Nice restaurant with interesting menu focussing on local products, especially Uhudler. Nice location surrounded by vineyards and historic wine cellars.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Location was exactly what we were looking for: Quiet, yet well connected to bike trails, and greenery all around. Due to bad weather we didn't do as much biking as planned, but the small indoor pool and wellness arena were a great alternative.

NOT a dislike, just a note: this is a small town in the country: if you need bright lights and loud music, another location may be more suitable. And please make sure you leave a room for me next spring.

From the perspective of an older person w/ occasionally restricted mobility, this place is like a slice of Austrian heaven. Several rooms are designed with seniors in mind, with elevator access, extra-wide doors to accommodate “rollers”, and higher toilet seats. As the 4th generation representative, owner Helmut, assisted by staff and his dear Mother, caters to each guest’s personal comfort. I nearly fell over the first morning on entering the breakfast room when I discovered that what I had thought was the buffet was my personal table, with name card: two baskets of breads, a bowl of cereal, fresh cut pineapple, yogurt, non-lactose milk, a plate of cheeses & meats, butter & jellies: I can’t even recall everything. And then I got my choice of cooked egg (omelet). In addition, since I was a solo guest, a variety of reading material was placed next to my plate, and I was presented by Helmut with a tourist card to get discounts in the area. And what an area! In a few hours, you can eat your way thru Burgenland, Slovenija, and Hungary, visit several castles, hike in the hills, view museums…. It appears you can also borrow equipment from the hotel for your outdoor activities. Families with children will appreciate the “game room” off the lobby and the indoor swimming pool. There’s also a spacious “back yard” with an outdoor pool.
