This is truly a great place to stay and we would return (and I hope we will). Any criticism we might write here would be purely motivated by personal preferences and would be nitpicking. So we have nothing to complain about

Everything was excellent. First of all, I would like to point out that the room was extremely clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the center, the church, nature and mountains. It seems that the hotel is owned by the family that runs it and it is clear that they do it with all their heart. The breakfast was also excellent. The breakfast served savory and sweet dishes. I would like to note that the hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the center of town. I don't think any hotel in the center of town has such a good location in terms of views as this hotel. All in all, excellent accommodation.

We stayed at this delightful family run hotel for one night during a road trip along the Grossglockner Alpine Road. It was a perfect stopover point. The setting is picture postcard pretty and the whole ambience of the place is tranquil and relaxing. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly owners and were exceptionally well looked after in the evening by our lovely waitress. We had booked a table for dinner and breakfast was included in our room rate. The food in the evening and for breakfast was very good - in the morning our eggs were cooked to order. All in all it was just what we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to go back there.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The host Claus and his wife Claudia are an amazing couple. They took care of us and helped us stay there comfortably. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast and we will definitely come back in summer.

Internet a bit slow - yet most people come here for nature and sightseeing, not for remote office work. :)

We had a large one-bedroom apartment with balcony, very comfy, exceptionally clean, well equipped. Owners Klaus and Claudia and the rest of staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice location, close to Großglockner Hochalpenstraße. Nice view from the terrace. Great food at the in-house restaurant. Free parking at the location.

Amazing place, wonderful hosts, great food and spectacular views, all at a reasonable price. The dinner was also excellent. We felt welcome and at home and would have loved to stay longer. Our rooms were renovated, super clean with great bathrooms.

Klaus and Claudia are outstanding hosts from arrival to departure. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable, with beautiful views from the windows. We were made to feel very welcome from the first moment and highly recommend having drinks and dinner in the restaurant. On our first night in Austria we felt we had a very authentic experience. The breakfast was also excellent. We highly recommend a stay here.

I did not read thoroughly enough the info on Booking, and found the bar and restaurant closed on Tuesday. The day we stayed, so this was a big letdown. My fault though.

Very friendly husband/wife team that we met at breakfast. Nice balcony with fantastic views.

The owners were so hands-on, the result is a superbly run pension hotel. A bonus for us was that they have a full a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, perhaps one of the best we have ever had. We were lucky to have a view facing window and balcony. We would absolutely love to stay there again.

Usually, I stay at bigger Hotels, but we rediscovered, how great it is to stay in a family-run hotel. We appreciated the host, location, fantastic view, sauna, cleanliness, and restaurant for dinners. The bus stop to Heliigenblut/Grossglockner ski area was actually in front of the ski depot room. Wifi worked excellently in my room. If we come back to the region, we come back to this accommodation!

The staff were great, but when I booked the hotel many months ahead of time I told them that we were limited to doing stairs and requested to be located on the lowest floor possible. Instead they booked us on the highest floor possible, which was frustrating. They knew we were coming for at least 4 months. They could have set aside lower floor rooms for us. It was extremely painful for us to do the stairs due to my dad being 82 and myself having bone cancer in the hip. It was unfortunate as I have several friends planning a different trip and will recommend another hotel in the same town that's more accommodating.
