The apartment was very well-equipped and extremely comfortable — perfect for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful historical villa in a quiet yet central location, plenty of space

The location of the accommodation is excellent, the rooms were quiet and peaceful. Parking was absolutely hassle-free, I always found plenty of free spaces. I also appreciated the walking distance to nearby places and the nice view from the windows. The apartment was fully equipped, including a washing machine and everything we needed. A sauna was available (though I didn’t use it because of the warm weather) and there was also a room for storing bicycles, which is a big plus.

The only downside was that the parquet floors creaked quite a bit when walking around the apartment. It didn’t really bother us, but it might be disturbing for someone else.

Huge apartment that is very nicely decorated and well thought of to accommodate what you need comfortably. The apartment was very clean and centrally located with close by shops and restaurants. The garden is a huge plus especially with the sauna that is available 24/7

Conveniently located near the main street and bus stop, but a bit hidden and therefore, very quiet. Hosts are really friendly (to a point you may feel they're overburdening you with information, but you can also tell it's done with being helpful in mind). The apt is clean and spacious. It is equipped with more than you could ever ask for and then some. There were even some board games available. We also loved the convenience of a separate toilet and bathroom. It's an excellent choice for staying in Reichenau for a few days and I would surely book again. We also enjoyed a coffee place just on the other side of the river a lot. Only a 3-5 minute walk, and their coffee is to die for.

Squeaky and very uneven wooden floor takes a little time getting used to. The living room was a bit dim due to small windows and facing north. It's an old building so the window sizes are not fully up to modern standard. Not a major issue but still worth mentioning. Seems like part of the toilet smells from downstairs neighbours are being sucked into the apt through the ventilation (apartment is on the top floor) and you could sometimes smell as if someone just passed gas when passing through the hall. Not a deal breaker, but still a bit unpleasant. GENERAL COMMENT NOT PROPERTY-RELATED: There is something called a "RUF-bus" operating in the area. The idea is truly great and I really wish it succeeded. It's supposed to be a service similar to an Uber-share and the property provides you a special card that gives you free rides within a certain radious (7.5 km if I recall correctly). However, don't rely on it. The app to order a ride is absolute garbage, hangs all the time (at least on iPhone). The process of ordering the taxi usually takes longer than the ride itself cause you have to restart it multiple times... Plus, the drivers are completely unreliable and while it says the pick-up times are only an indication and drivers can be delayed by 10-20 min, they sometimes just postpone and postpone, and postpone. Worst offender delayed their arrival by 69 minutes! Whether they finally arrived or not I've no clue. The app said the journey was completed, but obviously we didn't bother waiting and took the bus instead (which operates as scheduled and is very reliable, by the way). Oh and once you placed the booking, you cannot cancel it. At least not in the app and the hotline operates only until 4pm. Pretty sweet, huh?...

We went there with my wife and our small baby girl. We liked it because it was in the remote area, small village and within the driving distance to Vienna. Since hotels and accommodation in Vienna is extremely pricy then this option suited us best. The apartment was spacious. Separate large bedroom and large living room.

There were a few things we did not expect, though. It looked much cozier in the pictures. In reality the apartment was pretty dark. The interior is a bit old(school), a bit tired. My wife is allergic to all kinds of washing/cleaning artificial chemicals. The whole apartment and freshly washed linen smelled strongly of the washing liquids. So we had trouble coping with that, had to wash all the linen ourselves, and sleep in separate rooms. Not ideal for a happily married couple. I guess it's fine to stay for 1 night or 2. We expected a much cozier place in the heart of a beautiful village.

Very nice, well maintained appartment in a villa surrounded by a beautiful garden. Responsive host, two questions we had were quickly and efficiently dealt with. Good location, close to public transport and shops and restaurants.

One of the most lovely and comfortable spaces we’ve stayed in while on holiday. Truly an outstanding experience.

Apartment was fully furnished with dishwasher and also washing machine, making it easy to stay tidy during skiing holidays. Fully fitted kitchen and pellet burner helped to create nice cozy evenings in.

The house. It is old but gold. Feelt Austrian Home style. Isolation of windows would make it perfect. Although there is enough heaters and stove to make it warm.

It was winter. And windows are old and cold air could get through.
