My choice of neighbourhood

Breakfast was first class. The location was sufficiently close to city centre, just 3 x metro stops but neighbourhood a little run down.

The room was a bit small, there is not much space to leave the clothes (just a rack) and the WC/Shower share only one door (which didn't fully close). Due to this, going to the toilet can be a bit uncomfortable if you are staying with a friend and not your couple.

Very modern, comfortable beds. Great price/quality for 1-2 nights. Perfect for 1 person or couples.

The sliding door between the toilet and the shower which could only cover one or the other was a peculiar arrangement. It would be better for each section to be able to have privacy.

We were a bit disappointed that we booked two Superior Double Rooms with a balcony view but only one of us received it, and when we asked about it, we were told that there were no more rooms like that left and there's nothing they can do. It was not a last minute booking. But it is not the end of the world. :)

A good location, nearby is the train station and it takes about 20 minutes to get to Vienna city centre. The hotel is nice and modern. The reception staff is also friendly.

About the room, the main problem was shower. It had some issues that is being reported by other guests. The first is the sliding door between shower area and toilet area, which is a bit uncomfortable, and also the shower area is not separated completely, so there is a possibility about water spreading to whole bathroom. The other problem is related to location, when we were coming back to hotel, especially at night, we really did not feel safe. The hotel is close to a metro station, but the area around the station feels unsafe.

The breakfast was good, we really enjoyed it. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. The location is good and you can reach different parts of the city by public transport which is 5 minutes by walk from the hotel.

That said, the hair dryer in my room wasn’t working, and the tissue holder in the bathroom only had two tissues, which wasn’t ideal for me since I cry a lot. Aside from those small issues, everything else was great and I’d be happy to stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Leonardo Hotel Vienna City West. The location is perfect – just a few minutes’ walk to the station, which made getting around the city super easy. The room was comfortable and overall a pleasant experience.

the bathroom and shower share a sliding door. the door is not hermetic, meaning it does not close all the way. it's very uncomfortable and it shows up in all the reviews. I don't know why it's not fixed. another thing, I asked for an iron for my clothes and I was surprised to hear that I have to leave 10€ cash deposit. it is the 1st time I encounter such a request in an hotel, and we don't use cash so we just wore different clothes.

the room was big, balcony also. good water pressure in the shower. breakfast was varied and yummy. we arrived before the check in time and the room wasn't ready but we were able to park in the hotel parking and go for a walk in the meantime. the location is near to the centre of the city, very close to the brown and green metro lines. the AC in the room was very good, the amenities smelled amazing.

Walk-in showers are generally inpractical, but this one was absolutely terrible - each shower resulted in water splashed all over the bathroom (if you did not close the door- all over corridor too!) - complete mistake. Sliding doors allowing to close either bathroom or toilet aren't fortunate too, if you travel with a grown up kid. Coffe at breakfast not too good.

Very convinient location, close to U-Bahn and not far from both Wesbahnhof and Meidling Bahnhof. Also traveling to the city center is easy. Good sound isolation of the rooms. Air conditioning gentle and efficient.

The air conditioner control doesn't work and the room temperature is controlled by the main system. So it was so warm during the night that we couldn't sleep and the next morning, when the air conditioner was on, it was so cold.

The rooms are clean and there is metro station near the hotel.

there is a nuissance which does not have to do with the hotel, nearest metro/tram station Gupemdorfer strasse is an open marjet for narcotics, I would not use it especially at night

very good value, 4 money, very near Westbahnhoff and Mariahilfer strasse 10 min on foot, very clean, comfortable rooms
