Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Sloveniahe breakfast at the hotel is quite expensive, and despite the considerable distance from the city center, parking is only available in the hotel garage, with no parking spaces outside
A pleasant, large hotel by the Danube, with the option of a beautiful riverside walk to the city center, about 20 minutes on foot. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, well-equipped, and despite the proximity to the highway, very well soundproofed.

NetherlandsView from the room.
Breakfast was very good, everything was clean, staff was nice, bed was good. For us the location was good, but we had 2 bikes with us to goto the city-center, otherwise it takes 20 minutes to walk. It was a quiet room.

Czech RepublicOur first encounter with the reception was not very adequate, as we arrived before check-in time. Luckily, we met the manager in the restaurant, who was very kind and helped us check in earlier. Also, a big plus is that they offer coffee to go.

The location is on the Danube river, a very natural area. The hotel has a restaurant so the dinner is possible there if you don’t want to go to Linz downtown .

United KingdomIt could benefit from extra parking spaces but on the whole there is nothing negative about my stay.
The hotel is conveniently placed for easy access to the motorway. Nice comfortable rooms and an excellent restaurant too. The parking was also welcome and can accommodate larger vehicles. Not many spaces though.

PortugalA good stay overall. The facilites could have been a bit more modern but the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was super flexible when it came to extending my stay. The reception was friendly and flexible to receive a package before my stay, so thank you for that. Breakfast and dinner were nice and for a good price.

United StatesThe area is an industrial area. It seems to be in a transition.
Hotel was very nice. Nice amenities wasn’t worn out. Nice outdoor space. Breakfast was pricey for what it was €20. It was a standard breakfast, front desk clerk said it was huge. The Best Western‘s offer same breakfast for €15 all day long with more options! Other than that was a very nice place. I liked it.

Czech RepublicThe weather hahaha! Nothing to dislike - we'll stay here again when we next visit Linz.
It is easy to find from the motorway and free public parking wasn't a problem. It's right on the river and only a 20 minute walk into the city centre. The breakfasts were lovely - something for everyone. We also had dinner there on the first night, which was nice although the dishes we had were a bit 'soupy', which was a surprise. However, they were very tasty and the staff were very friendly. The hotel room itself was nice; basically, just what you expect from a hotel room! Hot water was available at the reception all night with a vast selection of teas, and coffee (including decaff) is available from 6am to 9pm (I think). Some people complained about there not being a kettle in the room, but there's no need for one.

HungaryParking is bit of an issue if you are not comfortable paying additional 18€/day. The location is not very quiet or particularly nice - basically a highway intersection. No chance to try sauna as its only opens in the afternoon...
The location of the hotel was perfect for us - very close to harbour district. Hotel room was clean and well equipped, staff was friendly and helpfull. Bed was comfy. We had no breakfast but the dinner was fine.

Czech RepublicOur only complaints are the noise from the motorway, the heat of the bedrooms (in March!), and the soundproofing in the rooms, none of which are the fault of the staff. The rooms are quite hot and the air conditioning was off (and I suspect it might be centrally controlled??), meaning you need to open the window to cool the room down. If you pack earplugs, it's fine. There's also the noise from other rooms, but I think that was more to do with the flooring as the rooms aren't carpeted. Again, earplugs sort this out. That being said, we would stay here again without a doubt.
It's in an ideal location just off the motorway. A 25 minute stroll along the river (it would be lovely in summer - not so much fun in the rain!) takes you to the historical centre of Linz. Plenty of free parking around, although I suspect that depends on the time of year. There's a fabulous large terrace that overlooks the Danube, which would be a great place to sit in warmer weather. The staff at the hotel are SUPERB! Very friendly and super helpful. I cannot fault them. Although we booked a comfort room, which is the cheapest option, there is hot water and a wide selection of tea bags available near reception 24 hours, as well as coffee from 06:30-11:00 - and it's all free. The room itself was large enough (although the bathroom is a bit tight) and has all the amenities you might need. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely: there's something for everyone and you will not leave hungry. In fact, I doubt you could try everything on offer as the selection is that wide. I personally loved the sausages and the homemade fresh fruit salad.
