The location and breakfast was good

Can’t flush toilet paper down due to poor plumbing. Shower had low water flow and fluctuation in temperature when others used it in a different unit. No WIFI connection or so slow that it was useless. Wasn’t able to set thermostat. Curtains were improperly attached to darken the room. Light in WC area had burnt out bulb so one needed all lights on in the middle of night. Definitely would not stay there again and would not recommend for others.

Beautifully renovated apartment in the heart of the city center, with a gorgeous kitchen (although we couldn’t find a cutting knife). The breakfast was plentiful.

The mattress of the bed in the bedroom is excellent, but unfortunately the pull-out double sofa in the living room is not comfortable enough.

Only the location makes this ideal, other than that everything else is basic.

Wifi is so terrible, almost no connection at all. We know that the building is old so the plumbing is very sensitive. We have a tub during our stay and even with short shower it takes too long for the water to drain. The water temp is so sensitive that a slight turn makes it too cold or too hot, you have to be absolutely precise with the spot. The apartment is a bit dated as well.

Excellent location

The location of the accommodation was incredible – right in the city center, close to everything. The house itself was beautiful, with nice corridors and an amazing elevator. The pension consists of a few rooms and doesn’t have a restaurant, so you take whatever you want for breakfast and bring it to your room. The room was tastefully furnished.

There were several potentially dangerous issues in the accommodation. What bothered us the most was the placement of the valve on the bathroom heating ladder. The valve was sticking out into the room, and because the bathroom door opened the wrong way, both my husband and I bumped into it several times – I still have a bruise on my side after two weeks. Another problem was the doorstop on the floor. My husband stepped on it while getting out of the shower because it was in the way, and it was quite painful. I was also disappointed that the accommodation refused to provide gluten-free bread for breakfast, even though I requested it well in advance. Gluten-free bread is now standard, and providing a single gluten-free roll is hardly expensive compared to the price of the accommodation. Lastly, there were signs above the toilet reminding guests what should not be flushed. While I fully understand the reason for the signs, they were not phrased very politely, and the illustrations were tasteless and kind of offensive.

Fridge and kettle in room. Breakfast can be eaten in your own room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Location is perfect. Vienna is lovely

This hotel is at the heart of the city centre. Most of the tourists attractions are within 5 mins walkable distance. It has a cool elevator.

Excellent location, excellent communication, ease of checking in.

The guesthouse is clean and tidy. The location is wonderful, just a few minutes walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral. The guesthouse is on a quiet street, so you don't hear all the hustle and bustle. The staff is very polite and helpful. I highly recommend it and thank you for the excellent and pleasant memories in Vienna.

Excellent location - could hardly be better. Comfortable bed, clean and a bigger room than I expected. Nice breakfast and the prosecco a very welcome touch! Air con good. All in all a very good room for the price.
