Reviews of Panorama Hotel Traunstein 3 stars

Spacious room (at least our apartment), terrace with sun loungers + balcony. Numerous parking spots available, plentiful breakfast. Walk to the lake and promenade 10-15mins.

The Wonderful view from the balcony fascinated us. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The was very clean cozy.

I wished the room would be a little bigger since we had our dog with us and we needed a bit more space.

No fan or airconditioner, no fridge or coffee station, breakfast fell well below average, staff didn’t speak any English

I liked the location, view from my room, cleanliness at the room and bathroom. Breakfast was also good. The staff is nice and responsive.

My pillow was not very comfortable. Having a small fridge and a kettle in the room would be a great addition to the facilities.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. We had a great view of the mountains and lake on the top floor and we used the elevator since we had many bags. There was free parking. The shower was wonderful and the bed very comfortable and super clean! The room was quiet. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.

Very expensive for what it ultimately is.

I have to pay for hot water 4euro more eventhought i have paid 400eu for room for 2 day. They dont even have kettle in each room.

The room style is a bit old, could be more modern,

Staff members were great. Breakfast spread was wonderful. Bathroom/shower was spacious and modern. Comfy beds. Big balcony with nice mountain and lake view. Room had everything we needed.

Bathroom mirror above sink much too high. Wife had to to stand on tippy-toes to apply her makeup. Why do hotels do this? This is not the first time this has happened to us.

Location and terace are ok. Staff is very pleasant.

Room not as described. In description they said they have separate bedroom and from pictures you would assume that there are two rooms but it is one suite that has no doors and no separate rooms. Toilette is unpracticaly too big, room is more organized for 2 people, not four as we reserved. Lake view is what you get in the picture below.

Walking distance to nice beaches in the lake, location is great - close to nice hiking areas and other lakes. 2.5 hours from Vienna which is great. The room was spacious and fully accessible (we didn’t need but will fit a wheel chair)

The WiFi never worked, hot water weren’t working well even after we asked for a fix. Both were important to us and the price doesn’t fit those conditions.

The view from the rooms with a terrace i(facing the lake) is beautiful. I'm not sure about the view from other rooms. Breakfast was OK, but the dinning room was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm They have a little playground for kids, which is really nice (we didn't travel with kids, but it caught our eyes)

The rooms are small. The entire hotel feels a bit crammed. It's all about location, though! If you are not a smoker, then your terrace experience might be ruined by others who are. There is no air ventilation in the room except for the door that opens to the terrace.

Very nice accommodation. Lovely view. Very helpful staff.
