Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, nice place. The staff very polite and helpful. Thanks to staff for the portable fridge, very helpful, keep our food safe and beer cold. Breakfast very nice and good selection with fresh fruits, vegetables. Thanks again for staff kindness and see you next year.

There were flies in the apartment, and the level of maintenance of hte house could improve.

We had a spacious apartment that was clean, and comfortable. Hiesel was a wonderful host. Even though the outdoor temperatures were hot our rooms stayed cool and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the alps. We loved the traditional Austrian breakfast. We enjoyed walking in the town and used the Sbahn and Uber for transportation. We had an amazing stay that reminded us that there are good people in the world everywhere. Thank you Hiesel!

Beautiful area with stunning view of the alps. Easy walk to local train and grocery market. Lovely breakfast served each day.

Location is far from Salzburg, train station is 15 mins away and when we reached to take train there is no train. If you have car then ok. Not enough soap and shampoo in toilet. Checkinn was also difficult there is no one in the house and they provide only one fan in badly hot weather. Bed was also not comfortable

Really the location was wonderful, the staff was very nice, the rooms and beds were clean, the breakfast was good enough.

The only think I didn't like was that we (my wife and I) are tired and unfortunately we got an apartment in the third floor.

Great apartment, with full equiped kitchen. Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Really great breakfast!! We have gluten free needs, we introduced this topic before our arrival, and we found great breads for our breakfast!

Peaceful surrounding, easy check in (keybox), wonderful breakfast, nice room and terrace.

Nothing really bad, just in the shower there was a bit low pressure, but still okay. The price is a bit exaggerated, but so it was everywhere around there.

Pension Hiesal is set in a nice location on the outskirts of Anthering and only a 10 minute walk from the train station, with regular trains direct to Salzburg HBF, with a few nice places to eat in the village. The room and balcony has a lovely view of the mountains and a continental breakfast of museli, breads, cakes, hams, cheeses and fruits are available. The bedding was clean and comfortable and I was very grateful to the host for providing a range of food suitable for dietary limitations (gluten-free/dairy).

The room did not meet expectations and photographs are not a true representation; the furniture is worn and many of the surfaces were coated in a layer of dust, specifically bedside lamps, tables and lampshades. There are no facilities to make hot drinks and due to the changeable climate in Salzburg ( expect to tan and watch lightening storms on the same day!), the ability to remove hangers from the wardrobe would of been useful to aid in hanging drying clothes in the bathroom. The room is basic, basically furnished and I felt lacked attention to small, basic details that would make a difference to cleainess.

Great location and view. Anthering station is very close, can park your car and take train in to Salzburg city. We didn’t take the breakfast (our loss!) - it’s very reasonably priced compared to other places.

No elevator. We were a large family with old folks/kids and we could not carry heavy bags up two floors.

Very quiet, clean, & met all our overnight needs.
