How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No external garden for kids. The underground parking is a bit small for large vans.
Very good location, in the heart of kaprun. The hotel is boutique, top notch! Everything is perfect, the rooms, the lobby and the breakfast. Large rooms and balcony. Amazing view from the balcony!

Beautiful hotel in Kaprun with stunning views of the river and the mountains! The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. The place is fully equipped, spotless, and every little detail is carefully thought out. We were welcomed with warm hospitality. Perfect location — close to shops, activities, and everything Kaprun has to offer. I’ll definitely be coming back again! 💙

The staff, owners, and sooky the dog are so friendly and always there to help. This was the second time we have been here and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The breakfast is exceptional. Looking forward to the next time we visit.

The family room was big and comfortable. The location was amazing just at the heart of kaprun. The hotel provides its visitors with a free access during their stay to the tauern spa in Kaprun, which is a great place to go chill and enjoy their outdoor pools and all their other facilities. The couple running the hotel were so helpful and friendly, even before our stay they weee responding fast to all the queries we had and recommending ski schools in kaprun

Actually everything. This is a boutique hotel run by local family who gave us real familiar feeling and assisted with any inquiry or question. The hotel is well designed by architect who made the place nice to be in and very comfortable. Very nice breakfast! They also have a private free parking at the basement.

We recently stayed at Lederer hotel in Kaprun and we were thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the Alpe. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities one could need. One of the highlights was the Kaprun Summer Card, which the hotel provided. This card gave us free or discounted access to many attractions and activities in the region, including the stunning Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and scenic lake cruises. It added incredible value to our trip and made exploring Kaprun and the surrounding areas so much more enjoyable. Overall, Lederer hotel provided an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaprun.

The toilet is separate from the bathroom and from any water source-The female workers in the restaurant do not show any desire to provide us with service. They need to avoid rudness and at least give a welcoming smile.

There is an apres ski bar facing the room and there is noise every day until late. So it was difficult to fall asleep. The bathroom has no door. I never u deratand why the door shall be missing in bathroom. I
The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a 5 year old son and 1 year old daughter and it felt enough spacious. Breakfast was great. There was cleaning service every day.

The location of the hotel is right in the center of the city. We were welcomed by the owner of the hotel, who explained all the necessary things and we also learned about the possibilities, which we had no idea about when we booked the hotel. Everything was taken care of and everything we could think of (even outside the hotel services) could be arranged at the hotel reception. And as a bonus, the breakfast was famous.
