A wonderful traditional Austrian guesthouse in a picturesque Alpine valley, which is maintained in perfect condition, as if it had just opened. This is a great option for visiting Salzburg - the city is only 20 minutes away by car, but the price for a room in the high season will be much lower than for a hotel in Salzburg, even taking into account the expensive city parking. By the way, do not forget to drive to the top of the Gaisberg mountain on the way back, towering above the guesthouse - there are breathtaking views from there. I would also like to note the high professionalism of the family running the hotel - everything, from check-in to an excellent breakfast on the open terrace, is organized at an exceptionally good customer-oriented and businesslike level. Beautiful location, excellent condition of the rooms, enough parking for all guests, delicious breakfast with a view of the mountains and wonderful staff: this guesthouse is a place that left the most pleasant impressions in all respects.

We could hear neighbors through electricity sockets. Glad nobody smoked, but it is possible to smoke on balconies. We have really strickt rules against smokers in Latvia and we are already used to live without that smell, so we are quite sensitive to that. So, be aware. All in all, these all were really small things which did not bother us in general.

Super friendly communication. The hotel has everything you need (even an elevator!). When there is no fog or rain (as in our case) the view is beautiful. Lovely terrase to drink a glass of beer/wine or coffee, Good parking options. Good breakfast.

It would hv been nicer if thaey had facilities like fan, kettle with tea and coffee available in the room.However, on our request, very kindly they arranged a fan for us on the second day of our stay...

Location was breathtaking, staff were very supportive and considerate. They recommend a nearby place for shnitzel and i can definately say that was the best shnitzel we had during our whole austrian trip. Will definetly visit again.

Seemed a little old fashioned compared to many other hotels we stayed in. Reminded me of a Hotel 6 room at first. No refrigerator. Small TV with only a few channels. Remote felt dirty and sticky. Small issues, really, overall. Still a nice place though.

There were no substantial meals offered on an evening, which if travelling by foot / bus is perhaps not ideal. That being said the staff brought me a few small plates which were all very good.

It would be nice to have coffee and tea set in the room and the hairdryer. Rooms were clean and well prepared for guests, but bed created a bit.

Fantastic view from the restaurant. Great hosts, very kind and helpful owners. Tasty breakfast with the most wonderful view. 15 min by car from Salzburg, which was very convenient for our family. The hotel has a swing for kids. In the evening we could order very tasty soup or beer.
