Our host was the most lovely lady, who went out of her way to help us. We had to depart early, so she prepared some take away breakfast for us. Also, she looked after our luggage while we went hiking. The pension is in a quiet but central position in town, with a lovely outlook over the mountains at Mayrhofen. You couldn't ask for more.

The location is great. The staff is always helpful and super kind! The room and beds are very comfortable and the wifi and TV worked well. The breakfast was very delicious and with a large selection of foods / fruits / juices / cheese / etc... and the coffee was great :)

I recently stayed for the second time at Pension Steiner in Mayrhofen, and my experience was once again exceptional. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The pension is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Main Street, making it easy to explore the town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views from the balcony were exceptionally beautiful, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The staff were very friendly and made me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be returning next year and highly recommend Pension Steiner to anyone visiting Mayrhofen.

Fantastic stay at Pension Steiner. Such a kind host who went the extra distance to make sure everything was perfect. Excellent breakfast everyday, including a packed one for my 06:30 transfer on the last morning! Super comfortable bed in my room. Always lots of hot water for a shower. Nice balcony with views. Ideal location just 3mins walk to the Penken gondola station and 5mins from Ahorn cable car. All round brilliant stay, friendly, kind, attentive. I would definitely book again.

Pension Steiner was a fantastic base for our week-long ski trip in Mayrhofen. I’d like to start with the generous hospitality provided by Frau Tipotsch - we felt like part of the family for our stay. She was always up for a friendly chat in the morning, providing tips on the conditions or what was going on in town at the time (such as a new year’s laser show). The pension itself is very centrally located, a short walk from the main Penkenbahn gondola and the town’s Main Street. Our room was wonderful, with lots of space, a generous wardrobe/storage space, a balcony and a view of the town and mountain. In addition, the pension had a ski room with storage space for skis and a heated boot rack. A wonderful continental-style breakfast was provided (special shout-out to the perfectly cooked boiled eggs); we certainly didn’t go hungry over our stay. We can’t wait to return!
